Piers Morgan interviewed former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice earlier this week, and the full interview airs Wednesday, January 19.
But we talked to Dr. Rice in the green room after about her Super Bowl pick and more. Including...what did she think of Piers and the interview?
"He asked tough questions, but he's a wonderful questioner and he gives you time to give an answer," said Rice.

Dr. Rice is a wonderful person. She has always carried herself in a very professional manner. Gotta love her!

who the hell cares who condoleeza rice picks in the Super Bowl? that's some nice reporting, CNN. really important stuff. was there no other way to plug the interview? no comment from her about currents events in Iraq and Afghanistan, let alone the Korean Peninsula, Ivory Coast, Tunisia that could gain viewers? The Republicans should run Condi for president. She is bright, female, black and maybe gay. That way they beat Obama on two of the minority plays, and she is better than most of the other republicans out there. The biggest problem is her Bush baggage.

What is wrong with CNN? Although Larry King was not always prepared he brought some level of dignity to his show. Piers Morgan is HORRIBLE. I cannot believe he landed a job on tv in that time slot. What was the purpose of the Stern interview? Was it supposed to bring SHOCK value to the interview. I am apalled. I cannot believe that C. Rice would want to be intervied by Morgan. What is he? A journalist? I think not. How long could he last on this show? He must clearly know someone at CNN because so far I am so totally unimpressed.
