George Clooney, and his father Nick Clooney, will be guests on "Piers Morgan Tonight" tomorrow night. In the interview, Clooney reveals that during a recent trip to Sudan, he contracted malaria.
"I guess the mosquito in Juba looked at me and thought I was the bar," Clooney quipped.
Piers Morgan broke the news on Twitter.

I hope Mr. Clooney will consider his affliction with Malaria as a badge of honor. The great work Mr. Clooney has done in bringing attention to the suffering of the people in the Sudan can in no way be overstated. I pray his encounters with this disease are minimal and that he continues to champion world issues of behalf of the United Nations.
I guess somebody is watching this show. Has anyone told Mr. Morgan it's not supposed to be about him? He refers to himself here as a possible cause of Clooney's flushed face (think about that for a second, haha). I read he was equally self-referential in his interview with Oprah – enough about you, how am I doing style.
Even the ad/digital poster for this show is wince-inducing. He looks as though he has a rebar up his rear, and does not have a tailor.
Piers, you cuffs are not supposed to reach down your hands so as to make you look like a short-armed mangled rube.
In 2008, Goerge Clooney believed that Bosnia and Kosovo should not be recognized as independent countries. He made a comment that he will organize a protest against the attempts to grant indepence to Kosovo. During that war, known as the Balkan War, 2.3 milllion people died. Clooney is known as a fighter for human rights, including recognition for his work in Sudan. Instead of helping those poor individuals, he took the side of the Serbians. It's beyond embarassing. But we have to remember that he is an actor, which were known as clowns in the medieval times.
We would really like you to do the Michael Jackson trial, interview more from the jackson family we would love an interview with Katherine, randy, and jackie. Also maybe Janet and Rebbie Jackson. It would be nice to see the bodyguards on your show as they knew him best. Larry became very popular because he did many stories on the jacksons and there are thousands of fans around the world. Justice for Michael. Keep the dream alive.
Brilliant! Piers, George, and Nick were the perfect balance of humor, humanity and insight. Thank you Piers for not being a "replacement" for a departing member of CNN, but for being a new, fresh reason to tune back in to CNN interviews. It's the first time in years that I've watched a CNN interview from sart to finish. See you at your next broadcast.
To Mr. Morgan
I love your show. I appreciate how you and your guests interact. I dislike most talk shows because they're frivilous.
Your show is informative . Thank you. I'll be watching.
did not know Geo Clooney was Irish & Catholic..he looks Italian ...dark dark eyes..think his girlfriend was in the studio ...
What a pleasure to have an articulate, sophisticated and well-educated interviewer taking over from Larry King.
Your channel has improved enormously. I'm sorry to say that Larry was really lacking in class. He was gauche, unsophisticated and his command of the English language was pretty pathetic.
Morgan's show is terrible. I DVRd the week, and got to hear him ask Oprah if she will get married...fastforward to Condi Rice being asked if she will ever get married...fastforward to Clooney being asked if he will ever get married (and Morgan exposing his lack of research that George was once married). Piers lacks the preparation and compelling nature to be a successful host. He was much more successful pushing his X button on AGT, and ribbing Howie.
