Rudy Giuliani talks Bernie Madoff, Wall Street bonuses and fixing the economy:

Reflecting on 9/11, Giuliani reveals the "worst thing" he's ever seen:

Rudy the actor? Giuliani does his Brando impression:

• Earlier: Giuliani says he's more likely to run for president in 2012 if Sarah Palin runs too.

I'm not a Democrat or a Republican, but I think its unfair to characterize Giuliani as a moron. The man was a very successful prosecutor before becoming Mayor of NYC. Sure he ran a lousy presidential campaign, but he was generally very effective as Mayor. However, Sarah Palin I would call a complete moron. She should be working as an office clerk somewhere.

I've read two of your comments UFO, and you don't strike as someone who should be impugning anyone's intellect. You refer to Gandhi who was a great man, but I don't think he would have been a good President. You also say that America lacks intelligence because two morons want to run for office. If a person wants to run, it is his or her business. If American elect a moron that is another matter. I'm actually very happy with the caliber of our current President. In a pure IQ sense he is very bright, but there is also much to be said for his character.

Did Giuliani really say that anybody can have health care at an emergency room? If you are an Arab Prince you come to the US for care.
Poor New Yorkers prob wouldn`t have to drag themselves into the ER half dead if they could get some primary care when they were first sick. Instead have to get tossed out of the ER with an expensive prescription that thay can`t afford to fill, so back to the ER for another hugely expensive bill for the taxpayer to cover.
Of course if you are a wealthy Oil Sheik come on over!! Speechless. That showed some care for his citizens!

That is the worst Brando ever haha

I don't think he'll be president. I think he'd be good for the country in a fiscal sense, but I don't think he'll win the nomination, let alone the presidency. He was candid in this interview. I kind of like this show.

This 'person' was running around playing 'photo-op' during the attack – the plans were made and executed by the civil service and volunteers...

People like this – Mayor, Gov. Pres. – are figureheads – I get ticked when they take bows for something they didn't do –

Noone can say that Giuliani did ANYTHING – maybe he gave some mental comfort... but that is it... emergency plans are in place in all cities – have been for years – the civil service tweaks them an asks for funds from the mayor and council – that is IT

He is on the bottom of my list – with the nuts and kooks – There are a lot of people in the GOP better than this guys – the number isdwindling, but there are MANY...

Unfortunately life has become a shallow popularity contest – and although I have no idea why anyone likes this guy..... in 30 years we will be voting for the intelellctual equivalent of Snookie – as long as the hair, make-up and purse with tiny dog matches the dress...

Politicians make the mob look like the girl guides.
Having said that, NY just voted in a tefflon Don wannabe. Cuomo went to private schools all his life yet he talks like an extra from a Scorsese movie.
He'll show himself to be a bully in an expensive suit. Guiliani is yesterdays news. He's done to many stupid things prior to 9/11 to ride that wave beyond 2 questions.

Did Giuliani keep yelling 9/11 all night ? That seems to be all he is capable of doing. I am shocked that Brasil would hire him as "security" consultant for the World Cup & Rio Olympics. His firm must have "greased" a lot of palms to get that gig.

When is this Piers show going off the air ? The bits I have watched were no big deal...surely CNN can do better than this...

Mr. Piers, WE ARE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA or US. Please stop your annoying generalization, refering to US as "America" like some Europeans do. The last time I checked Canada, Mexico etc are all "America". I watched your interview with Mayor Giuliani and it was really annoying hearing an "elite TV personality" display such ignorance

I guess you have never been to Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, because the rest of the world calls USA either America or just USA. I would recommend to check the defenition of America! FYI: The world pronounces the letter " Z" as zed. Only the Americans have their unique pronounciation.

  12. Joe from CT, not Lieberman

I think the only Brando quote for Rudy should be, "I coulda been somebody. I coulda been a contendah." That about describes his Presidential campaign!

"What are we doing on the same side with Iran, we should be on the same side with the EU and UK"

US policy is intended to live on its own merit rather than just taking sides. What a simple-minded guy.

Piers, Your interview with the Osteens was outstanding. Thanks for asking questions that most of us would like to hear their answer to: Hitler, gays, and what's his name in Afganistan..should he be killed? You have a way about you that is quite gentlemanly and I like that. Fox News has lost me to you, Piers, and Anderson Cooper. Betty
