Who is the man at the center of the latest uprising in the Middle East? Piers Morgan talks to several people who can shed some light on who Moammer Gadhafi really is.
Prince Sayyid al-Senussi and Jamie Smith gave their take on "Piers Morgan Tonight" Monday night.
Tonight's "PIers Morgan Tonight" will focus on the escalating and fluid situation in Libya. On the program we'll have an interview with New York Times columnist Nick Kristof from Bahrain, as well as CNN's Ben Wedeman in Libya, Arwa Damon in Bahrain, Ivan Watson in Cairo and Wolf Blitzer in Los Angeles.
Other guests will include Prince Sayyid al-Senussi (exiled Libyan opposition figure), Pan Am Flight 103 victims' families and Rafat Ali, founder of PaidContent.org, to talk about social media's impact in the region. All this and more, live at 9pmET.
"The new 9pm" Piers Morgan will interview the former 9pmET CNN host, Larry King, later this week as part of Hollywood Week on "Piers Morgan Tonight."
Says Piers: "'I can't think of many people I'd rather interview than Larry King, and I'm sure people will be fascinated by the dynamic between us, for obvious reasons."
King hosted "Larry King Live" for more than 25 years, before stepping down last year. The live interview comes in the wake of a much talked about King interview last week on London's Radio 4. Stay tuned for much more on this.
Rod Stewart will be Piers Morgan's guest on "Piers Morgan Tonight" this evening, and the duo talked about life, love and Stewart's new baby.
But Stewart also took a trip down memory lane, and relayed several stories from the road. It included drinking and drugs, of course, but that was the beginning. "We would dangle our Holiday Inn key in front of the girls," said Stewart. "And they'd all be back at the hotel." And then there was the trashing of the hotel rooms after. And which group name did Stewart start checking in under after hotels started catching on? Check out the clip above.
Each day, we here at "Piers Morgan Tonight" will put together the news you need to know – from what happened last night to what will happen today.
For February 21, 2011, protests continue in Libya – and Wisconsin. FULL POST
