Writer and director Kevin Smith was a guest on "Piers Morgan Tonight" on Friday to talk about his new movie "Red State" and more. He said unlike previous movies ("'Dogma' clearly was me going 'I've got something to say,') but with this horror movie, that has changed.
"I'm done saying things in film, honestly," Smith told Piers Morgan. "I'm going to retire after the next flick." He also explained the business behind his movies: "I don't make sequels or remakes. I don't make a franchiseable movie. 'Red State' took three years to find the financing for. It's bleak. It's uncompromising. It demands a lot of the audience."
