Charlie Sheen: If CBS hires John Stamos, they "deserve everything that happens later"

Another clip from Piers Morgan's interview with Charlie Sheen. After Piers asked about the future of Sheen and CBS, Sheen said, "I start hearng stories about 'they're going to hire John Stamos.'"

Sheen didn't think that would work out. "If you guys do that you deserve everything that happens later," he said to CBS. "Sorry John, you're a lovely man, but you got on me on Howard Stern, bro, and I don't forget anything."

Why in the world would you give an addict one hour of air time to spew his rambling thoughts?

It's called ratings. CNN or any other network could care less about Charlie Sheen. Unfortunately the sicker he is, the more the media is going to exploit him for our entertainment. How sad for the Sheen family. Kids, parents etc.

Piers on several occasions during the interview actually condoned his behavior. Calling Charlie "perfectly normal" It was disgracful to watch, though not surprising because Piers used to work for a tabloid newspaper in Great Britain. So a Charlie Sheen meltdown is right up his alley.

I always had great respect for CNN. However, they must be ashamed of them selves hiring Piers, this guy should be working for the National Enquirer. I don't know who is more of a low life, Piers or Charlie? What a pathetic interview.

    How dumb is Charlie Sheen?

Morgan – "when was this drug test taken?"
Sheen – Turns to his assistant on the left and comments "when was this taken, yesterday!" then charlie turns back to Morgan and says in a very affirmative/confident tone "It was taken yesterday"

Charlie, how do you forget taking and "passing" a drug test the day before??

I was veryd disappointed in this interview. PIers totally sucked up to him which is the very reason why Charlie Sheen feels he is god-like. It was the worst of all interviews so far. Sorry, Piers–I was really hoping for objectivity instead of idol worshipping.

It's so sad – but not unexpected – that Piers and other members of the media are trading integrity and decency in for ratings. Giving Charlie Sheen any type of platform is only adding to his sad situation. It is obvious that he is very ill and needs to be insitutionalized immediately. Piers and others are fueling his illness for their own gain and should be held responsible when Charlie self-destructs. Shame on you!

Karen I agree in part with you. Members are trading integrity but that is not to say it will be their fault when he self-destructs. He is not a 16 year old girl like Brittney Spears, but an adult who lost touch with reality long before these recent events.

Charlie Sheen's publicist quit, clearly because he's not a bi-winner. Nor does he have tiger blood running through his veins. Read the full story @imeanwhat http://bit.ly/h2ERGj

Sheen looks like hell and he's getting that "Tweaker" look and shake/motion, I think the drugs are starting to take their toll.... This is what happens to the endless list of Hollywood brats, they burn out... Life was just too good for them, I guess, and they can't handle it.. Boo hoo.. now he wants three MILLION per episode.. Sorry Charlie, you ain't worth it.

Who is this man Piers Morgan, a kiss ass perhaps. I thought he was supposed to be a real good interviewer, not, as Charlie would say. All I could hear was Mr Morgan villifying Charlie's behavior. I totally thought the interview sucked and Mr. Sheen is in total denial.

Piers was very disappointing in the interview of Charlie Sheen– what Piers did is called enabling–and showed alarming ignorance of addiction as a disease. How will Piers feel when Charlie hits bottom–and may not live to tell it?

Great interview! Piers relaxed him, got better answers than in any other interview Sheen has given. Fine job of getting somewhere into Sheen's reality more than any others. I totally enjoyed it. And i admire Piers' technique which others are criticizing. I was looking for insight, not confrontation. Satisfied.

He is the worst impolite, arrogant, ignorant human being on cable TV. You got it if don't just watch him once it makes you vomit

I don't see what the big deal is. There is an older man living in California that has had a continual party for 30 plus years and no one is complaining. This is why I see Charlie Sheen as the next Hugh Hefner and Hugh is considered an icon of sorts. He has always had live in girlfriends (even with his kids around) and Hugh got a tv show out of the deal (a successful tv show at that).
Personally, I think Charlie Sheen is loving all of the attention right now and if people didn't react and didn't care, then there would be no story!

Charlie made the statement referring to no one has told him what to do about his addiction problem. He should be informed it is all up to him. Comparable to a compulsive liar, the liar has to acknowledge what they are doing is wrong, tell themselves not to do it anymore, and keep exercising control of not doing it anymore. Charlie, just don’t do it. You may fill in the word “it” to represent whatever “it” is that you know you need to stop doing. What example are you setting for your children? That they can do anything they want even if it hurts them? No, children need to know as adults, they need to take care of their bodies, their mind, as well as that center nugget of their being, their soul. Charlie could take a course in Nutrition to expand his knowledge vs. expanding his ego and then he will be the example for his kids when they come across difficulties in life. The everyday nutrients needed by the body would be a world of information to expand the understanding of the person with an addiction problem to allow them to see what they are doing to every cell in their body. Everyone has problems with some kind of overindulgence; it is up to that person to control it. Charlie pointed out that “help” groups like AA, I don’t remember what he said, but he wasn’t impressed. Support groups are for are encouragement. They can’t make you quit any bad habit, that would require getting inside your body and controlling your thoughts which I don’t think Charlie would want,(he would be like a pretzel M&M), yet he allows substances to control his actions. No! Control yourself, set an example, God first, then put you next and then you will be that loving father that thinks about what is best for his kids, not what is best for the Charlie ride. I can suggest what maybe no one else has, two words, Just Don’t. This will open up a new kingdom for you to live in, you can call it the Charlie Kingdom, but your children will call it Daddy!

Great Interview Piers. Loved it. Both you and Charlie Sheen were real and right on in your comments. I'm sick of Americans moralising everything to death. Let's get real. Ya!!! Thanks for an interesting hour.

What a shill Piers Morgan is, purporting to "know" Charlie Sheen from a1990's interview? Morgan was really a left field choice for a primetime slot where hard news should have been. (no wonder Amanpour left the network). The interview was an approval for really bad choices in life, and while no one has the right to tell Sheen what to do or not do, you can't get away with trying to fool the public. This is not about being judgmental, Morgan, it's about putting up a rich, sick spoiled human being and telling him he's right to dig his own grave. Just look at the women he's pulled into his fantasy; one looks young enough to be his daughter and both are certainly submissive and dewy eyed. Someone needs to save them! Thanks Morgan for showing us just how low your show can get and how sick Sheen is. He is white knuckling it, waving about a drug test that is good for about as long as it takes for the ink to dry; people wake up! This guy is exhibiting signs of cocaine withdrawal, and possibly permanent brain damage. His bizarre jerky movements and wild grandiose comments are nothing that any person who has seen any substance abuse close up have not seen; I'm a registered nurse and I have seen it personally and professionally. The only thing that gives Charlie Sheen the right to think he is a winner is that he is getting all the attention that any greedy talking head can give him. Nothing about this is funny, Charlie. It looks sick. My heart, sympathy and support really goes out to another man who is hurting over you: your father the wonderful Martin Sheen as well as your whole family.
