President Barack Obama's sister Maya Soetoro-Ng is a guest on "Piers Morgan Tonight" tomorrow, and discusses her brother's first term. "It's been a challenging time. There's a lot in his inbox," she told Piers Morgan. "He has a healthy dose of pragmatism and he knew there would be enormous challenges and that it would be hard work, but of course there are things that happened that are simply unforeseen."
She also discussed the double-edged sword of having a brother run the United States. "I'll be happy for the nation," she said of Pres. Obama winning a second term. "As a citizen and as a parent myself, it's very important to me that he run and win. As his sister, of course, there are feelings of ambivalence because it is such a hard job." How was Pres. Obama growing up?
Soetoro-Ng talked about the way her brother would look over her when she was going on dates. "His judgement was very good and I think it continues to be," she said. "He’s a pretty cool guy. But he's also very much himself…He’s a pretty easy going fellow but as a history teacher this is pretty extraordinary for me to sort of bear witness to all of this history."
