Filmmaker and Oceanographer Michael DeGruy spoke with Piers Morgan last night about the situation underwater in the Gulf of Mexico one year after the Deepwater Horizon oil rig exploded. DeGruy says the coral near the well head is stressed and dying. He doesn't think the damage is done.
"You can't help but wonder is this really OK? Did we dodge a bullet? I don't think so ... I suspect that over time we will find issues," he said.
DeGruy noticed similarities between the disaster in the Gulf and the Exxon Valdez spill in Alaska. "If you look at Alaska that's exactly what happened," he said. "It was three years before the herring crashed in Alaska."

Best interview ever by Pierce Morgan!!!. He was witty, sympatetic and very to the point with Mr Feinberger about his non-willingness to pay the fishermen who don't have proper proofs on their past incomes.to receive compensations.
Pierce told him pointblank to find a way himself since hie is paid 1 million to do the job.
Mike was a hero and passed in a Helicopter crash in Australia. May he Rest in Peace thanks Mike for speaking out for the People of the Gulf.
