George Michael says Twitter is the reason his royal wedding song came about

After his interview with Piers Morgan last night, we asked George Michael about his recent use of Twitter. "I quite like it," he said. "My Twitter people are really the reason the track 'You and I' came about." He also talked about the way Twitter helps deal with the press.

And here's George Michael's appearance on "Piers Morgan Tonight" last night, in which he talks about the reaction to his royal wedding song:

One comment. Great coverage of the Royal Wedding, good mixuture of presenters and opinions and various levels of enthusiasm however; you missed the live version of William and Kate in the OLD Aston Martin with just wed on the number plate coming down the Mall. I watched the whole day on CNN and last and beautiful drive by the two of them in their lovely car on BBC. I do not mind but wonder how you guys and girls missed planning the live version into Hala Gorani's show?
