Piers Morgan interviewed Nick Cannon today (to air soon), and Cannon commented on the reports of a "tabloid scam" at the hospital involving his wife Mariah Carey. Child Protective Services was called following reports of "drinking and drugs" going on at the hospital.
Cannon explained the situation: " It all started where a nurse suggested to my wife that if you drink Guinness or a small amount of Guinness, the dark beer, that the yeast improves breastfeeding," he said. "Then they were saying that my wife was drinking beer and all that stuff. It’s like people would do anything to conjure up a story."

I worked as a midwife in England in the 70's and 80's, while still in hospital, at the end of the day, we offered breast feeding mothers a bottle of guinness as it was believed to enhanced milk production.
