I really feel sorry for you Piers Morgan, after tonight's interview with Donny & Marie! Your ratings will further go down and you'll will not recover for wasting your time with these two has beens and phonies! They truly represents a group that includes Donald Trump, Rosie O'Donnel, Joan Rivers, Kathy Griffins, Sarah Palin, and the likes!

So agreed... self inflated and snooty... Marie has never confessed to the reasons of her sons suicide... and Piers is totally missing the chance to dig into it...

Raphael apparently you are childless or just heartless or possibly both. The point is she has lost a child...I can not even begin to imagine what she and her family have gone through and I pray I never have to experience the tragedy. If you knew why he took his own life would it make it any less tragic......or would it make you feel good in some sick way to be able to place blame on someone or something? I suggest you use that little brain of yours to make yourself familiar with remote control for your tv......maybe watch Springer....I'm sure you could relate to it!

Hey Piers I hope the ratings for your show go through the roof like they did when the Osmonds were on OPRAH. They gave her the shows highest ratings in several seasons!!! People know that the Osmonds have been around for over five decades because they are not only amazing people, they are truly gifted entertainers. In comparison to a lot of today's entertainers you wouldn't have anything to compare to D&M! Having met them several times through the years, I can tell that you are in for a real treat! Marie is my angel! Thank you again for having these show business legends on your show tonight!!! Richard.

Donny and Marie and all the Osmonds are the genuine stuff, anyone having to insult them is just jealous and need to get a life!!!

What the blank did Marie Osmond do to her lips and eyes?! Part of her charm used to be the expressiveness of her face, and the cute hint of a smile even when she spoke. Now she looks like a Maori wrasse fish (I challenge anyone to look it up and deny it).

    PIERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STOP INTERUPTING YOUR GUESTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have to go back and watch your interviews and see how many times you do not let your guests finish their thoughts before you jump in with another question! It looks like you aren't even listening!! I'm close to taking you off of my dvr . . . I'm getting embarrassed!!!!
I mean I let you off the hook with the Oprah interview because it was your first interview but I was shocked at how many times you interrupted her. Dude??? Manners????????????

So happy to see that I am not the only one so frustrated with this!!! His listening skills really need to be tweaked...course I am not really sure he is listening half the time but already formulating his next question...it is great he has the "questions" we all want asked but it is useless unless we hear the answers...quite a few times I have tuned in becuase he has had interesting guests but this particular habit is driving me crazy! Listening shows respect...let your guests answer!

another Piers interview missing his promised "going all the way" chances: Marie Osmond had a gay son who killed himself why?... Why cant Piers stop the self-promoting interviews with people bluntly self-gloating instead of bringing out depth and interesting facts... Please Piers, stop harping about your personal opinions, I'm more interested in your guests views, not yours... annoyingly BORING

First off, her son Michael is not gay, her daughter Jessica is. Secondly, it isn't any of our business why her son killed himself. Maybe they still don't know? But either way, why do you need to know? Marie is one of the most "real" celebrities out there. I have had the HONOR of meeting her many times through the years and every single minute is special.

Wow, that Marie is so rude and pushy. She keeps cutting poor Donnie of EVERY SINGLE TIME he as something to say. He's going in lenght to praise his wife and again she cuts him off. Over and over again. If too much attention on Donnie, she jumps and takes over. Pretty pathetic.

apparently you just don't get humor.... that is their schtick. Secondly if you knew her at all, which you obviously do not, you would know how genuine and real she is. Rude? Marie? NEVER!

Piers, I am glued to the set watching Donny and Marie on your show. I love both of them! I saw the show in Vegas and loved it! I am going to see Donny again this summer. They are both so talented, entertaining and genuine. They are both beautiful singers and both are amazing dancers. I have been a fan of Donny ever since he hit the scene and we are about the same age. I definitely had Donny on my wall but today after all these years I'm still in love with him...and my husband is cool with this. LOL!

I have met both Donny and Marie and they are both super nice people and are not rude! They both are very kind people with big hearts. Obviously the individuals who think otherwise have never personally met them! And Marie interrupts Donny because that is part of their stage act and it has been since the 70's. Also, I am happy that Piers didn't grill Marie on Michaels death because I don't think anyone should have to be forced to talk about their childs death, let alone their suicide, on television unless they choose to. Would you want to be backed into a corner and asked those questions in her position? Just leave Marie be and if you don't like Donny & Marie or the Osmonds in general, then go spend your time doing something more useful than writing horrible slander against them. And thank you Piers for having them on your show.

btw, Marisa – my gf is a doll collector which I had not intended to mention. Well, I just changed my mind. She did in fact see Marie twice at doll signings and told me Ms. Osmond was RUDE as can be, borderline snooty, and clearly did NOT want to be there, but had no choice because these women bought her pricey porcelains (to which the quality has gone down, btw) so she had a duty to fulfill by signing. the gf relayed how rude Marie was to senior ladies, and this was not a one-time occurence. She is vain, and as artificial as she looks. On the other hand, I know someone who met both Donny and Wayne Osmond and said they were class acts. So much for defending Marie...or was she just "having her off days" ?

WOW I had been to about 40 or so of Marie's doll signings including at QVC itself and she has never been rude. In fact she will stop what she is doing, saying and get up and pose everyone for a pic. Once we had a pic together and she was signing a book or doll... she said, "NO! Wait I wasn't looking" then stood up, wrapped her arms around me, and posed, saying, "now that is a picture!" I have also been there when event organizers were gtting upset that she was taking so long and insisted that she wasn't leaving until everyone else did. THEN she stood in the parking lot and posed and signed some more? That was after being inside for over 4 hours! Maybe, just maybe something else was going on... or maybe someone else had too high of expectations? In over 40 signings I had never seen rudeness from Marie... now from others at the signing, that I have seen.

It was very nice. Nice. Piers, very disappointed you didn't ask pointed questions. Donny has long been known in the industry as leading a double life. I have first hand proof from a VIP bodyguard company of his frequently gay bars (dancing, making out) when on tour with 'Joseph and the Amazing technicolor Dreamcoat.' Which is all fine except for when he comes out of his corner gay marriage bashing.

Your Body guard friend I am surely he's mistaken, Donny is a very genuine person and doesn't lead a double like...and gay bars? the only bar he's probably been into is a restaurant that sells alcohol....much less going into a gay bar, he's a happily married man of 33 years to his beautiful wife and 5 wonderful children. Tell your friend to get glasses!!!

    • Really???

now this one is probably the most stupid and disturbing... along with totally inaccurate. I am gay, Donny is not. We wish that he were.... but... he isn't.

I enjoyed the show tonight with Don and Marie. It's good to see talent, hard work, decency, ethics, not to mention siblings make it.

Piers, you ask decent questions but do not control your guests. When someone annoying like Marie osmond continually interupts donny's & your thoughts, you must (at the break) tell your guests interuptions will not be tolerated. it makes the show unwatchable. You should asked marie what was going on with her lips, because they looked horrible...when interviewing 2 people at the same time, you must determine who is most interesting & has the clearer thought process & focus on that person....it makes for a better show..........

Funny how almost everyone else here was mentioning how much the host was interupting them! I agree! He would ask a question, they were answering, he would begin a new question? As for D&M interrupting each other, that is part of their act/persona since the 70s tv show. Piers stop asking if you don't want to hear! Ask and then LISTEN! Other wise AWESOME interview on the very stage we saw them on two years ago!

I too, wonder what happened to Marie O's lips. They have a completely different shape than in her younger years. This said, clearly the interview showed two hard working individuals. I think it is amazing two siblings can work together so closely in show biz for 40+ years, and still be on friendly terms.

Thank you for the excellent interview that you did with Donnie and Marie. I am even more impressed with your skill as an interviewer after watching this show. I thought it was prudent and respectful of you not to pry into details of Marie's Sons death or their religious beliefs in a negative way. You have many fans here in "my neck of the woods". Keep up the good work, Piers.

Marie's lips look terrible. I have been a fan forever and collect her dolls. I saw the show in Vegas before this lip tragedy and she looked so much better! I am so disappointed in her for falling into the glam scam, The procedure makes them look like daffy duck to me. I could not believe she would mess her face up like that, Has she not seen what it did to Michael Jackson? She lost the beautiful smile that we all loved. Im kind of done with her now. Always loved her for being true to herself and now she is a big phoney

Wow I see you are a fan forever and Marie does something that only hurts herself and you are "done with her"? Let me tell you that I have been a fan forever and nothing could stop my love for them. My take on her lips is one that I have seen many times when you see a woman that was abused physically and emotionally... husband telling her she was ugly... they go out and do things to make themselves beautiful... even though she was incredibly beautiful before!
