Last night Piers Morgan interviewed talk show host and former politician Jerry Springer. Springer talked about Sarah Palin and Donald Trump – two politicians he doesn't agree with politically. "I like the man," said Springer of Trump, but "I don't want him to be our president." Of Palin: "She connects in a very important way."

Springer also talked about political sex scandals – and "Piers Morgan Tonight" updated the Casey Anthony trial...

Please please stop giving credence to people like Donald Trump, Sarah Palin and the others that have nothing to contribute to the political discourse that so badly needs to take place. They have done nothing to create solutions but engage almost solely in mirror-watching and self-aggrandizement.
You do yourself and your viewers a disservice but playing their childish games.

Casey is the biggest liar I have seen to date. If the child drowned, why did she have duct tape on her mouth? Why tape the mouth of someone who's already dead. Although I do believe she didn't intentionally kill Caylee, she fits herself into this perfect little box where she's the victim. She's too stuck on herself to admit she made a mistake. I think at this point Casey should just come clean. I'm sure the jury isn't stupid and can see right through the lies.

We stand at a crucial point in our history. Balance of power is slowly shifting away from the US, winds of change are sweeping across the Middle East , a region vitally important to our geo-political and economic interests. Powers like China, Russia and India have become active more than ever in furthering their interests in regions where once we held sway. Capitalizing on our follies and weaknesses in the past decade.
Turkey and Iran are both slated to be the power players in the region thanks to our lop sided failed policies in the M.East
We are losing allies, turning entire populations hostile to us. Our prestige, clout and credibility has dwindled.
Americans have now to be more aware of the changing world in chosing their leadership. Those up on the Hill entrenched in long bred biases, twisted ideology and nurtured by foreign lobbies and special interests have to go.
We need political leadership which can stand up to the forces of hate, fear mongerers and special interests. Who stand for America & Americans.
Not the like of those who clapped their hands raw and fell over each other to kiss the hands of the leader of a fascist, apartheid regime like Netanyahu to spite their own president. As an American I felt offended and insulted by these fools treating a foreign leader who misses no opportunity to thumb his nose at us, as if he was our leader and patron-in-Chief.
We need now more than ever to be careful in chsing our leadership.

The comments Jerry Springer made on Piers Morgan are the soundest and most intelligent I've heard regarding the election. Pier I hope u ask Mitt Romney the hard questions on Monday night. Especially specifically what would he do to create jobs. So far all Romney has done is say Obama is not a good president. That's rhetoric and not really giving any solutions to the problems our country is facing.

In my opinion Trump is making a mockery of the presidency. It's so disrepectful the way he's going about it. As for Palin I don't think she intends to run; bc I think she knows she can't win. But bc she has influence on a certain sector of the country she stays out in public promoting her rhetoric. I can't see voting for reality tv personalities..who appear only to be really interested in money.
