Last night "Piers Morgan Tonight" focused on the debt crisis after President Barack Obama's speech and Speaker John Boehner's response. Grover Norquist didn't think the Obama speech addressed the issues that need to be discussed. "We still haven't seen a budget or a proposal from Obama for six, seven months now," Norquist told Piers Morgan. "He gave a political speech tonight...What we really need is some arithmetic with numbers written down."
Also on the show was Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer, who had a different perspective:
Said Schumer: "The President put the blame squarely on the shoulders of where it belongs – a block of extreme right House Republicans who just refuse to compromise at all."
