READ about Piers Morgan's long career in journalism here.

Tonight Piers Morgan sits down with Will.i.am and inventor of the Segway Dean Kamen to talk about their collaboration and ABC special "i.am FIRST: Science is Rock and Roll." Will.i.am. reached out to Dean Kamen when he learned how powerful his FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) program was. "We sucked him in," Kamen says because "he can do it [get millions involved] in one swoop."
Kamen explains why it's so important to have someone like Will.i.am:
"By some standards, FIRST is an enormous success...but the standard of our popular culture, virtually nobody knows about FIRST." He hopes that with Will.i.am's star power and involvement more people will come to know FIRST and become involved.
Catch the full interview tonight at 9pm ET. Then tune to ABC Sunday at 7pm ET for “i.am FIRST: Science is Rock and Roll”

Kamen; your personal close was unnecessary! That wasn't a great closing advert! Wot a PRAT!
Good show tonight. While I like the idea of everyone having a mentor. Many do not have one. They have this drive within them that helps them on their creative path. I wish more children, and adults had mentors available to them. They can be a powerful force in setting their future.
While I like the fact the Piers Morgan may bring in an international awareness to this program, his lack of complete understanding of American culture and somewhat aloof nature, is not suitable, nor valuable, to an American audience or the incredible brilliance of American born stars like WILL.I.AM. Piers is a good interviewer and journalist, but does not do any justice to this kind of important programming on CNN.
I completely agree. When I traveled in England I couldn't stand British television. Why CNN thinks Americans are interested in it is beyond me.
Ask kamen about his freshwater machine
Adding his machine to a bloom box and you could save thousands of lives
"'There is a mighty lot of eteorgsn in that party.' was not a shot at Hillary but a shot at women in the Dem party. Don't try and spin it or defend it. It was a dumb comment."In truth, we would have to let the blogger state his intentions in making the comment. My point was that the larger truth seemed to be missed. And, in this case, there doesn't seem to be much to defend. There's too much eteorgsn in BOTH parties–too much yin and not enough yang, if you will. The Dem females, however, with the support of their male colleagues, seem to emphasize it more than the Rep females and their male colleagues. That's why, though Republicans are not immune, it works better when played before a Democratic audience. The shame is that it trivializes the issues and further weakens the state of American politics.
This tonight show was specially great!!!
Kudos. Refreshing to see the collaboration of intellectual endeavors and the power of entertainment. WILL.I.AM has surprised me and I have a newfound respect for him and his musical intelligence. Subjects like science are sorely under-represented in our schools today – intelligence can be found in music, science, math, art, drama, literature, etc. It's time to recognize and celebrate it.
i'm a fan of piers after this show? when is it airing again so i can recorded and show it to my son??
