Former presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty endorsed former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney Monday morning. The Romney team also announced Pawlenty will serve as co-chair of the campaign. The announcement comes with speculation that Pawlenty wants to be Romney's vice president.
Before Pawlenty formally announced his run for the presidency he talked with Piers Morgan in April about running for office and if he would ever be another candidate's vice president. His response?
"I'm running for President I'm not putting my head in the ring rhetorically or ultimately for vice-president."
We'll see if that stays the same.
