Clips From Last Night: Richard Branson on Obama, evolution, economy

Sir Richard Branson was a guest on "Piers Morgan Tonight" last night, and discussed the recent major fire at his home, his space plans and more. He also talked politics. "He put out some pretty big fires that were raging when he came to power," Branson told Piers Morgan of Pres. Barack Obama. Of health care: "I think he was right in trying to shake that up."

Branson discussed evolution and religion:

Branson on religion: "Religion has done a lot of harm over the years...I see myself as a humanitarian who loves people. Maybe one day somebody will be able to convince me that there is a god."

Branson on economy: "It was basically greed, and a vast amount of overspending...companies need to be braver in talking to their workforce."

I am a fan of yours and I was very angry when I saw on the TV how a British politician was feeding the world with lies about you.

    Cheers

"only when we as human beings find ourselves beneath the impending cloud of "Disaster" is our "need" for one another so vividly exposed... but ironically it's only in our darkest hour do our most shinning moments of humanity expose humanity as having had absolutely no other choice in the matter.... this exception must become the rule"...... ns

Isn't it odd that the quick buzzing Mr. Morgan ever eager to be as brutally honest as his role model Mr. Cowell is also the one on America's Got Talent to most frequently encourage participants with tantalizing talk of the so-called $1,000,000 prize, knowing full well that the fine print screaming by at the close of the show admits that the prize is paid out as a pittance over some 40 years? What is the present value of that prize...how much money would the winner get if s/he elected to take it all up front? Mr. Morgan is halfway home; his talk is brutal, but it certainly is not honest.

"why would political pietars accepting money from Jimmy Lai be a case of corruption? non-sense, completely (or complete?) rubbish 邊條法例說他們犯法 香港現在是沒有政黨法規範這些 你有種你自己告他們吧 我鼓勵你 這些問題 對所有傳媒 包括東方太陽文匯大公 要一視同仁 對所有政黨也是 不要selective!"
