"Rogue" author Joe McGinniss: "I'm so sick of Sarah Palin right now...I hope to never hear her name again"

Joe McGinniss, author of the controversial book about Sarah Palin "The Rogue," was a guest on "Piers Morgan Tonight," this evening, and discussed the most recent developments with his book. "I talked to Glenn Saturday," he told Piers Morgan, describing the NBA player Glenn Rice who he wrote had a fling with Palin. "He said, 'I read that part, that's good, that's all good. That's just what we talked about.'"

McGinniss disputed Todd Palin's suggestion that he was a stalker: "I'm so sick of Sarah Palin right now that after this couple of weeks is over I hope to never hear her name again."

Gene Sperling: "The premise of Ron Suskind's book is dead wrong"

Ron Suskind's book "Confidence Men" takes a highly critical look at the Obama administration's handling of the financial crisis. Tonight on "Piers Morgan Tonight," National Economic Council Director Gene Sperling fires back. "I've been here since day one, and I want to say unequivocally the premise of Ron Suskind's book is dead wrong," he tells Piers Morgan. "I saw the President sit in the Roosevelt Room for hours asking penetrating questions and then he made the difficult call."

Suskind also talks about the President's debt and job plans. Also tonight at 9pmET: author of "The Rogue" Joe McGinniss and former Gov. Jennifer Granholm.

Simon Cowell on why Cheryl Cole was dropped from "X Factor": "She looked a bit bewildered"

Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger – two of the judges on the soon-to-launch FOX show "The X Factor" – are guests on "Piers Morgan Tonight" tomorrow at 9pmET/PT. In the interview, Cowell, who also serves as executive producer of the program, talked about the drama that already has transpired – Cheryl Cole was removed as a judge during the audition process. "She looked a bit bewildered," Cowell told Piers Morgan. "I took the view along with a few other people that she would have been more comfortable back in the U.K...That's what you have to do when you produce – you have to make decisions in the moment, and I take full responsibility for it."
