Clips from Last Night: A Dr. Murray lawyer and former patient; Herman Cain's accuser

One of the members of the Dr. Conrad Murray defense team, Nareg Gourjian, was a guest on "Piers Morgan Tonight" last night, and talked about the guilty verdict. "A lot of the pre-trial rulings that were made by the court in reference to some of the evidence that we'd planned to offer for the jury to consider, that's essentially what denied Dr. Murray a fair trial in this case," he told Piers Morgan. "He was clearly devastated. He loved Mr. Jackson."

Also on the show was Herman Cain accuser Sharon Bialek and a former patient of Dr. Murray's.

"Conrad Murray was the only man on this planet that loved Michael Jackson enough to try to help him," said Dennis Hix.

"I don't think we can have anyone in the White House who is unable to tell the truth," said Bialek.

THIS IS A DISGRACE! MJ was a drug addict for many years and now somebody else has to be punished for his addictions. The officials could have dealt with the poor doctor with a bit more respect and not bombarded him with cuffs etc while he is still listening to the Judge. The poor man was in shock and had no intension of running anywhere! Where were the so called "family" when MJ needed them???? They are more in the lime-light after their brother's death!!! DR CONRAD MURRAY INDEED DO NOT DESERVE THIS TREATMENT!!!! FROM SOUTH AFRICA

The difference here with addiction is that a physician has an OBLIGATION ethically to help a patient with an addiction and NOT continue to enable it. If he cared about his patient (AKA Michael Jackson), he would have made an effort to help his addiction. I am a physician and it is totally out of scope for ANYONE with a license to practice medicine to give injectable anesthetics to a viable human being to help them sleep at home. This doctor was caught up in himself and his girlfriends and spent most of his time on his cell phone and not supervising his patient. Dr. Murray should have put Michael Jackson in REHAB instead of injecting him with drugs.

I agree with Belyda that the cuffing of Murray was a publcity showing the bias of the judge which showed in every aspect of the trial. the trial was not fair, and the jury was sucked in. The cause of death was never determined I think th Jackson family caused this to come a criminal issue when at best if was accidental death. That entire family is sick and why americans cant see this is beyond me but there is no reality in LA just wanna be,s Shame on the LA justice system you just reflect the aggressive phony vindictive nature of your population, .
