Manny Pacquiao, the politician: "Being a public servant is a serious job"

Legendary boxing champion Manny Pacquiao is a guest on "Piers Morgan Tonight" on Friday at 9pmET/PT, ahead of his Saturday match against Juan Manuel Marquez (find out more here). But there's more to Pacquiao – specifically a career in politics. "Being a public servant is a serious job," Pacquiao told Piers Morgan. "You're taking care of the problems of those people who are needing your help."

He also talked about the corruption in his country, the Philippines. "I want to say to them that I'm the good example to serve honestly," said Pacquiao. Watch the full interview Friday night, 9pmET/PT – also with trainer Freddie Roach and promoter Bob Arum.

The only thing the Marquez vs. Pacquaio 3 fight will prove is.....all the reasons why Pacquaio don't want to fight MAYWEATHER!

Manny wants to fight Mayweather. His camp took the initiative to re negotiate and agreed to the same blood test that Mayweather requried at that time, the same blood test that Mosley took. Mayweather came up with some other requirements as want to take 100 million. so FM either did not want to give MP his share of the purse or its just an excuse not to fight. I believe its the latter!

@ david head why would u comment about pacman not fighting mayweather? i think pacman would want to fight him... because of the money and pride he would give to his countryman, and compared to mayweather only cares for himself... who would you believe?

The Mayweather Pacquiao fight will only happen depending on the outcome of the fight with Marquez. If Marquez loses by knock-out, Mayweather will find an excuse not to fight Pacquiao. If it is a draw, there is a hope that it may get through. If Pacquiao loses, Mayweather will be totally convinced that he could tackle the Pacman. Let's wait and see. The Pacman will eat Mayweather alive.
