Howie Mandel on adding Twitter followers during The Piers Morgan Interview: "Who knew that this show had this power"

Some good natured ribbing, old fashioned button pushing, and chop-busting banter.  That about sums up Howie Mandel's visit to "Piers Morgan Tonight."

But when the topic turned to Twitter, that's when things got personal.  "Why would anybody want to follow you?" quipped Piers Morgan. "Because I'm wonderfully entertaining," retorted the comedian and television host.

Former co-judges on "America's Got Talent," the sit-down proved an easy occasion for Morgan and Mandel to revisit their friendly rivalry: FULL POST

Clips From Last Night: Douglas Brinkley and Nathan Raab discuss the revealing new JFK tape

Last night Piers Morgan sat down with Nathan Raab, Vice-President of the Raab Collection and acclaimed author and professor Douglas Brinkley to talk about the newly revealed original and unedited white house version of the Kennedy Assassination Air Force One tape. Raab told Piers that the tape is historically significant because "this is how we know what the Federal government did immediately after the assassination."

Douglas Brinkley remarked that one of the most fascinating aspects of the tape relates to General Curtis LeMay, one of Kennedy's major adversaries. All references to LeMay were removed in the Johnson Library version, an edited version of the original tape.

Jack Welch on the presidential race: This is going to come down to the economy

Piers Morgan talked with Jack and Suzy Welch tonight about the state of the presidential race. Jack says people should be asking touch questions during the election. "Do we want to change the argument, do we want to pull ourselves together, do we want to stop fighting each other, do we want to have a president that’s a unifier rather than a divider? Those are the questions."
