READ about Piers Morgan's long career in journalism here.
Comedian Rosie O'Donnell is normally quick with a laugh. But her life hasn't always been funny. She lost her mother at age 11, and her father wasn't ready for the task of raising five small children. Now a mother of four herself, O'Donnell is trying not to repeat history, saying "The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to become what you loathe."
O'Donnell says she's forgiven her father, but she's sensitive to the abuse she sees all around her. "At the end of the day, every child loves their dad - and their mom." Tune in at 9pm ET/PT as O'Donnell opens up on being a daughter and a parent.
One year ago today "Piers Morgan Tonight" went on air. For our anniversary we thought the lively Rosie O'Donnell would be the perfect fit. Naturally Piers Morgan asks O'Donnell the question he seemingly asks every guest: "How many times have you been properly in love?" O'Donnell says "three times." She first had her heart broken at 28 but it taught her some very valuable lessons. "It opened me up," she says. "I realized I was capable of risk taking."
O'Donnell also opens up about Mike, a man she dated for two years. "I loved him very much," she says. But "I think I knew I was gay my whole life." Tune in at 9pm ET/PT as O'Donnell opens up like never before on Donald Trump, her breakup and much more.
To kick off anniversary week Chelsea Handler turned the tables on Piers Morgan last night to ask him the questions. "They wanted me to come and play you for a day so I'm being rude because that's how you behave," Handler said. She looked back on the last year showing Piers some moments that people have come to know him for including the memorable Charlie Sheen interview, Christine O'Donnell's walk off and asking his guests if they've ever been properly in love.
Handler also gave Piers a chance to look back on some of his favorite guests:
