Rosie O'Donnell on being properly in love: "It opened me up"

One year ago today "Piers Morgan Tonight" went on air. For our anniversary we thought the lively Rosie O'Donnell would be the perfect fit. Naturally Piers Morgan asks O'Donnell the question he seemingly asks every guest: "How many times have you been properly in love?" O'Donnell says "three times." She first had her heart broken at 28 but it taught her some very valuable lessons. "It opened me up," she says. "I realized I was capable of risk taking."

O'Donnell also opens up about Mike, a man she dated for two years. "I loved him very much," she says. But "I think I knew I was gay my whole life." Tune in at 9pm ET/PT as O'Donnell opens up like never before on Donald Trump, her breakup and much more.

Congrats Piers. I look forward to your program and I have learned a bit from you in terms of how you ask questions and just your manner. Thanks

    To Piers and Rosie,
I so thoroughly enjoyed the show tonight and hope to see more like it! I have never seen Rosie up close in an interview, touching on so many subjects, makes me glad I tuned in tonight! Thanks for the personal insight, I'm sure all the viewers feel the same way. I hope Donald gets to know you enough that you can be cordial in public and stop the hate. You are both powerful people and have strong opinions, but I know you can love one another. I have always admired you Rosie. Neal
