Kathy Gingrich Lubbers on her father's "graceless" speech: "We're looking toward the next 46 states"

On the heels of Newt Gingrich's distant second place finish in the Florida primary, Kathy Gingrich Lubbers and Jackie Gingrich Cushman reveal details of their dad's perspective. "Dad said you know what? Welcome to the next phase of the campaign," Gingrich Cushman tells Piers Morgan. "This is where we're focusing, this is where we're going. It's going to really resonate with the American people."

Gingrich Lubbers explains why her father didn't congratulate Mitt Romney after his victory: "I'm not really sure I'd say that it was graceless. I think that what that is is the reality that he's moved on, and we're looking toward the next 46 states."

My children, so far as we can tell, are not iclnined to be worry worts at all. However, my youngest sister who is completing her final school year from our home certainly is.Since she moved in with us at the start of the year we have helped her get involved in youth group and that has really boosted her confidence. However, anything involving communicating with adults involves a few long conversations about adult expectations or expectations that come with adult roles' in society and helping her consider, from the other person's perspective, what they may think, feel or want from her.It requires the investment of time but is worth it when it comes to training her to prepare herself for the adult world next year.
