Clips From Last Night: Shaun Robinson on Whitney Houston's last one-on-one interview and Chaka Khan on why Houston may have relapsed

Television anchor Shaun Robinson sat down with Piers Morgan Monday night to talk about Whitney Houston's last one-on-one interview. Robinson recently interviewed Houston on the film set of "Sparkle" in Detroit, Michigan. Robinson was genuinely surprised by Houston's passing. "There was nothing about her that day that was any signal that in some thirteen weeks she would be dead. She looked like she was going to be at the top of her game once again."

Superstar and close friend to Houston, Chaka Khan also sat down with Piers and shared her opinions on why Houston may have relapsed and what mistakes were made during her stay in Los Angeles. “That was the first big mistake, for her to come in an entire week before her performance at the party."

people who are addicted to drugs should not be giiven prescriptions drugs in the first place. there are a lot of people who need pain medicine to relive their pain and people like whittney houston causes allot of problems for the ones who are not or do not abuse pain medication or prescription drugs. people wake up this girl was a drug addict and she had got off of some drugs but not all and exchange prescirption drugs wake up oeple its not prescripton drugs its addicts exchange one high for another

The recent (sensational) statement that we've been hearing lately that "prescription drugs are killing celebrities" in Los Angeles is nonsense. Precription drugs do not kill 99.99% of celebrities. True, prescription drugs lead to the deaths of thousands of people every year, but less than 1/5000 of those people are celebrities. So, now that we recognize that a few celebrities have died by that means – it is suddenly important, or newsworthy? The fact is drugs do not kill people. Drug addiction is not about drugs. It is about the people who use them – and the (very few) who abuse them. If we want to understand what happened to Whitney Houston, we don't need to understand more about drugs. We need to understand more about Whitney Houston. People who abuse drugs have problems – and the drugs are not the problem. They are the symptom of the problem. Let's stop the sensationalistic crap and get down to the real issues here.

get real, whitney was 48 and in charge of herself.. i pray she is saved, but after seeing her talk and part of her reality show, she was full of herself...and cursed a lot...michael jackson was a bad person, i believe he molested those children...
by the way, dr drew and you too would not have a show if not for stuff like this...
stop blaming everyone but the people.....they are not children....

If Whitney Houston had wanted to maintain her sobriety badly enough, she would have had taken measures to have the necessary support in place. It seems right now as though everyone wants to assign blame to the people around her, but she was a grown woman with a reported strong will. Whatever the shortcomings of the people around her in the days preceding her death were, they ultimately did not cause her to die. Why haven't I heard any reporters discuss the looks of disgust on the faces of all the other people in those last photos of her? It appears as though no one was too happy with Ms. Houston... perhaps she was ignoring the advice of those who tried to help...

Mr. Morgan, it appears that you will have to be added to the list of recent flipfloppers. For the past two days you have continued to verbally scold those who, in your opinion, irresponsibly turned a blind eye to Ms. Houston's reckless behaviour. But haven't you said on many occasions when commenting on Charlie Sheen's addiction-based, reckless behaviour that "it is his life and he should be able to do whatever he pleases"? Shame on you!

Honestly Piers, people dont say what you want and you hit back by saying that they are irresponsible and that they think that addicts can drink champagn. They are not three year olds, maybe you think african americans are idiots, they know that, they are just not willing to sacrifice their freinds dignity to please you.
I can just imagine how violent you would get if it was a friend of yours who had died and someone wanted you to tell a lot of humiliating stories about them on the eve of their death and dotn htink of some friend you would not mind sacrificing remember some friend you would not want to sacrifice. The engllsh ruling class dont consider it necessary to kow tow to everyone who wants them to anti up and make themselves look silly when people ask them to show their weaknesses for the sake of truth. At one minute you say you are a publicans son and at another that you went to a public school and are posh as all hell, so i don't know where to place you. If rich english people let themselves be taken in and humiliated themselves to gratify those who plea for truth, respecrt for the ruling class would wain, people who rule know how important respect is and dont let themselves be humbugged, why do you try to humbug others?
You only have to listen to the african american community talking of michel jackson to know that most of them wont let theirs look silly, It is incredible how they defend him and there is more reason to defend whitney houston who has never done anything worse than be an addict and the african american community is right to defend its own, classism, in part works because the rulling clases have a right to ask accountability of the less important groups but seldom consider it necessary to be accountable themselves and so the less important groups are just stupid if they do down their own, it is so obviouse tha tto do so is to dig ones own grave. To do down whitney houston to you is to really bend down to your adversary, the women you spoke to last night did not think drinking chamgpagn was all right for addicts, they just weren't going to give you what you wanted, their loved one for you to desmember.
As i said bosses are not accountable to their workers they can spend profits any way they want but workers are expected to be accountable to their bosses. Asking people to humiliate themselves, to talk of their weakmesses is not just the trick of those who fight addiction it is also the trick of bullies who want to get a handle on others and so those who are asked to do so should try to see if the situation makes such an activity positive or negative, it is not just always good to open up to strangers.
In Kill Bill Two, Beatrice is hopless at answering hurtfull statements verbally, Blll says in the chapel that her side is always pretty lonely, humiiliating truth, we see in the church that it is her who is suplicant to him clear sign of his domination and yet he has made her unpopular anmong his followers by saying that she dominates him, there is not a scene till the turn around at the end of the film, in which he is not dominating her so that she dominates him is obviollsl a lie that he is clever enough to make stick.. His brother asks a disgusting man if he thinks she is attractive and the answer is, seen better, Bill pretends to be very attentive, in the bonfire in the desert scene, but he is taking her to live alone with a murderer, hardly a caring thing to do,.so his attentiveness is skin deep, a cruel lie. Bills bits of cruelty are more subtle than the bits of verbal cruelty of most of the caharacters in the film. She has nothing humiliting to say back to any of them, which lack of ability is shown up by the abilities of the girl in the patch at hurting verbal, darel hannahs part has even prepared a set of things to say, noted in a note pad, to hurt bills brothers as he dies, and darrel Hannas part is good at or avoiding the verbal traps set for her set by Bills brother. In the last scene in the film Bill ttries to reduce Beatrice to someone whose only charicteristic, ability, interest and potential, in life, is to be a assasin, to be a person who would not be able to manage anything else in this life. He asks her to humiliate herself by so reducing herself as to admite the truth of this. He does not just ask her he has a lot of tricks to make his success more likely. He shoots a dart into her leg, pain takes away peoples resolve and he says that the dart cotains a truth drug, so suggesting that chemicals will make her unable to fight this verbal attack, and he suggests that it is brave to admit ugly truths, he uses a lot of tricks to get her to humiliate and reduce herself, people will often do anything to be called brave. In this last scene she defeats him verbally as well as physically. You are asking all these people to do down their friend and one of the queens of their group, you are playing the part of Bill in this whitney houston busyness. Chaka Khan talked sensibly about addiction but she also insisted on Whitneys spiritual and human qualities, every one reapeated how she shone, and how kind and human she was but you dont want to do homage to her, you only want blood, you said she had blood on her leg, who knows and who cares about a speck or two of whatever on ther stockings but you certainly are trying to bath your whole body in emotional blood at this juncture. rose macaskie.

Drugs are not the cause of addictions. They are just one of the many things that a person can be addicted to. The human body and all of its parts and any jucies that flow through the body can not cause one to be addicted to anything. I've heard many people on your show mention the word "demons". Well they are right. I just wish that they would take it seriously enough to try and convience other addicts of this truth and get the perfect help that they need in order to be set free from the demons that are generating the strong lust within themselves that causes them to be addicts. Read in your
Bible Genesis 4:7v, St. John 8:44v, and Ephesians 6: 10-12v. Demons are driven out of a person when they sincerely accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. St. John 3:16-18v, and Romans !0:8-11v reveal this truth to us. Jesus also gave power and authority to sincere believers to drive demons out of people who are controlled by them ( St. Mark 16:15-17v). Addiction is just one of the many dark ways that demons ( Satan, devills) can influence the lives of people. The sad thing is that many people who decide to seek help are mislead by the same demon, that has them addicted, to go to those sources that can not set them free from the demon and his infulence. This is why so many people go through all kinds of rehab programs and stilll find themselves wrestling with a lust for drugs. Demons can only be driven out of a person by the Power of Almighty God in the Name of Jesus Christ.

I find it astounding that Piers Morgan has taken the negative and unproven facts that surround Ms Houston's death for ratings. I watched his show tonight and actually felt ill to see him taking statements made by people as if something was proven. I also watched his first program and he stated no one should be focusing on anything but Ms Houston's talents and her life in a positive way yet he has focused entirely now on drug use and pointing a finger and looking to blame someone. Shame on you !!

This is ridiculous. Drugs do not solve problems. We hung German doctors for this at the conclusion of WW II. Why are debating this?
