Jennifer Granholm on Newt Gingrich: "His sense of hyperbole knows no bounds"

In the wake of Wednesday's CNN Arizona Republican Presidential Debate, this evening "Piers Morgan Tonight" welcomes former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm.

Recapping the action from Mesa, the host shares a clip of the candidates criticizing the commander-in-chief:

"I believe this is the most dangerous President on national security grounds in American history," stated Newt Gingrich.

A democrat and Barrack Obama surrogate, Granholm finds the comments from the former House Speaker to be particularly comical:

"It just makes me laugh out loud," Granholm tells Piers Morgan. "I mean, Newt Gingrich: 'The most dangerous in history.' I mean, his sense of hyperbole knows no bounds, we'll just say that."

Tune in to "Piers Morgan Tonight" this evening at 9pm ET/PT as the Current TV host shares her insightful opinions on the debate, and the race for the GOP nomination.

Is Jennifer Granholm dumb, or plain stupid???? On top of that she is obviously experiencing selective hearing, or just plain NOT LISTENING. Hello! Is anyone home Jennifer. Its people like you who help screw up this nation with half baked truths, lies and out and out falsehoods.
You need to go back to grade school to learn how to listen to what is FULLY said by Mitt Romney. Get a life! Its people like you who need to shut your mouth until you fully know what you are talking about. From everything you have said tonight, You do not know what you are talking about. What a waste!

Jennifer – you will need to clearly define hyperbole to Newt before he understands that you were "fun polking" rather than giving him a grandiose compliment...

Jennifer Granholm, what a shame, and you are a Governor. I am sure glad you are not the Governor of my state. Such narrow minded people such as yourself, help run this country amuck. You are pathetic. It is also obvious you do not know anything about Government finance and how to be responsible in managing Government funds correctly.

The Gingrich "hyperbole", as the former Governor calls it, is an effective means of getting people's attention before he elaborates the details of why he says what he does. What is "comical", and makes me laugh out loud, is listening to a democrat extract only a few words of what a republican says as if it is all he said on the subject. Pay attention, Governor. You might learn something.

Ouch!!!!!!! The Government shut down but Monica Lewinski was working. I smell a RAT. The republicans are a bunch of corrupt frauds and are famous for setting people up. Clinton was the most loved and best President in American history but the republicans made him a lame duck President and did not care the damage they caused our Country and his family because they had fraud and corruption to cover up. Also, they fired Obama. Evil fails soon or later. Democrats no longer have the right to vote.

Obama did not "embrace" superpacs. That is a clear misrepresentation. He said the they were bad, but he had to accept them, rather than be beaten by them during this election. Accepting them is different from "embracing" them. You let your right-wing nature show through Piers.

interesting to hear Piers Morgan saying this morning that Mitt Romney already spent hundreds of millions of dollars on his campaign! Mr. Morgan please get a sense of proportion and report truth and not your own illusions!

Piers, please challenge the liberals on your show. You always throw up softballs for them. You challenge the conservatives but not the liberals.

Dear misunderstood Pierce, you should have done your homework. I use to be a big fan and thought I could watch your show knowing I could trust the content. Unfortunately that is no longer true. If you would have checked you would have found that Ms. Jennifer single handily destroyed Michigan. Her tax and spend policies along with her hatred for corporations created a hostile atmosphere for manufacturing businesses both large and small. When businesses closed people lost their jobs then their homes. This was long before the national crisis. We kicked her to the curb where she belonged. The only thing I can think of that is worse than having her as governor is having her in a federal office.

Pierce, If you are going to host a public affairs program, the first thing you need to do is your home work. Its obvious you didn't, and or don't do any research on both the topics and the guest on your program. You make a lousy public affairs moderator. I was a moderator with my own public affairs program, daily for an hour, plus I was the news director, and investigative reporter, with several news casts throughout the day. I still had time to prepare my public affairs program, going into it educated and able to ask questions to bring out and exhaust the topic and person who I was interviewing. I did that for a fraction of the wages you bring in. I can run circles around you. You are pathetic at your job. CNN would do well to dump you for someone who can delve into the topic and into the person who happens to be the guest. Other wise this show is worthless, a sham. It does nothing to inform those listening and watching the program. Pierce, step down while you can.

I have recently been tuning into CNN for Erin, Anderson, and from time-to-time Piers Morgan. However, after taking in PMT show last night and watching incredible ill-informed hate spewing Governor Granholm snidely throwing barbs that Peirs Morgan just agreed with and expanded upon vs. offering any counterpoints or opposing rebuttal, I will be cutting CNN off at 9p EST now. Normally I can take Piers UK view but his obvious discontent for Mitt Romney (largely from what I gather is due to his not frequenting your show like the other candidates) is rather childish. You do realize, the majority of people know you are on CNN to provide cover for the tabloid scandal.
