Harvey Weinstein on "The Artist": "This is against all odds, this is the biggest gamble"

Looking ahead to Sunday's Oscar's, this evening "Piers Morgan Tonight" rolls out its own red carpet, welcoming famed movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.

The legendary producer and studio head is up for 10 Academy Award's – including Best Picture – for his film "The Artist," and says a victory this weekend would likely be the sweetest of his illustrious career:

"Probably, because, you know, this is against all odds," he tells Piers Morgan. "This is the biggest gamble, that the company took. It is the most-craziest thing ever."

A silent, black-and-white film, starring French actors, "The Artist" cost Weinstein's company 14-million dollars to make, but has grossed 80-million dollars worldwide. For the 59-year-old cinema veteran, the film's financial success is an unexpected bonus:

"I didn't do it for the money, but it's been the ride of a lifetime."

Tune in to "Piers Morgan Tonight" at 9pm ET/PT as Weinstein reveals the secret to success at the Oscar's.

We want to know more about the MMPA and Harvey Weinstein's point of view on the censorship of an upcoming movie "Bully". This is important stuff and the MMPA should move out of the dark ages.

We stole a page from TCU this year that has about 10 different hgtnis on it that defined a quality at bat and the kids would come in the dugout after there at bat or we would assign a reserve to keep track of it and at the end of the game tally them up. It was hgtnis like an 8 pitch at bat, moving a runner into scoring position, RBI, hitting the ball to opposite field, and several different hgtnis like that. This kept the kids positive and gave them something to work for other than just get a hit. It taught them to work at the plate just like on defense or on the hill.

great interviews...I have a FIGHT SCHOOL BULLYING Facebook page..if possible pass it on to Mr Weinstein . Several young suicides in Ontgario have occured as a result of bullying. I think school yard level student teams "Peacekeepers" I call them would help. The face book page describes my interest in this.

    Thanks Mike Pilon Ottawa

I think Bully has an unrestricted or over 13 rating in Canada now...Well done. There have been some tragic events surrounding bullying in Ontgario the past while. I non-violently but storngly intervened a couple of times as a late teen. One fellow thanked me after 50 years. He went on to a PhD and school became normal. I also served on the UN Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus. as the Candian Contingent dentist.I married the three events and came up with an idea of school yard "Peacekeepers"> I have a facebook page FIGHT SCHOOL BULLYING. Pass this on to anyone interested in trying to stop bullying...Thanks Off to bike to work 25 F spring not quite here
