In advance of Sunday's 84th Academy Awards, tonight Piers Morgan welcomes legendary studio head and producer Harvey Weinstein who shares his insights on the world of cinema.
A big-winner a year ago with "The King's Speech," Weinstein's "The Artist" will compete for Oscar in 10 different categories this weekend – including Best Picture – leaving the 59-year-old to think he finally has the Academy figured out:
"I want to tell you one thing, you know, people ask me all the time 'what the secret of the Oscar is...how do you win with those nominations and victories,'" says Weinstein. "And I have to tell you, the new secret, is coming on your show."
This realization offered the "Piers Morgan Tonight" host reinforcement for a conclusion he'd already drawn:
"I was about to say! Last year, 'The King's Speech,' they came on, you won. This year, 'The Artist,' favorite because they came on the show."
As the sit down continues, Weinstein makes his pitch for another invite down the road:
"But this show? This show? Next year? Please ask me back."
Tune in to "Piers Morgan Tonight" at 9pm ET/PT as the legendary movie mogul learns he may have Oscar competition in 2013 - from the man seated across the table!

Dear Piers,
I watched with interest your interview of Harvey Weinstein, who you called Mr. Oscar. I have great respect for Harvey and his brother Bob, but to set the record straight the only entertainment figure who can claim the name of Mr. Oscar is Walt Disney. Here are a few facts about the man who rose from complete obscurity to become the greatest name in entertainment history. During his lifetime Disney received four honorary Academy Awards and won twenty-two Academy Awards from a total of fifty-nine nominations, including a record four in one year,[4] giving him more awards and nominations than any other individual in history. Disney also won seven Emmy Awards. Having expressed the foregoing, I wish to say that Harvey & Bob Weinstein are giants in our business, I admire them and wish them ongoing success.
