Piers as an avid viwer nightly of your program, I must say that zimmermans atty mad MINCED MEAT out you. Not only that you made yourself look like a stupid limy. Your lack of knowledge about Florida law certainly showed. My suggestion to you is to be prepared with the right material prior to your srgment.
    Thank You

You continually demonstrated your lack of objectivity by repeating "the only thing Trayvon was guilty of was carrying a bag of Skittles". You don't know that to be a fact. He could have been guilty of a physical aggression toward Zimmerman, and Zimmerman could have reacted out of fear. Regarding your opinion of our gun laws, I believe most Americans get annoyed by Europeans who come to the USA based on opportunity, then express public disagreement with our culture and laws. Perhaps it's time you go back to England, where you are guilty until proven innocent.

Mr Morgan.......We're tired of hearing about "Trayvon". Why not try covering a different story. People are murdered every day in this country and you are worried about a little neighborhood hoodlum. Come down to New Orleans and you
can cover all types of murders everyday. It's just like the liberal media to be blasting us every night with this garbage.
Give it a break !!!! We didn't hear about the "white" man that was shot in the chest and died in front of his two kids
in New Orleans. He was shot by a black man who was trying to carjack a neighbor's car. Did you say anything
about that murder?? Of course not !!! Come to New Orleans and you can cover murders every day and we what
really happens with these little hoodlums and their everyday of robbing, stealing and murders. It's time to change
the subject. Everyone is tired of hearing about "Trayvon". When was the last time you covered a white person
being mugged, robbed, and murdered by a black person. It happens all the time in New Orleans. Every year there
are 200-300 blacks murdered in New Orleans and 99.9% of the time they are murdered by their own. Where are
you, Sharpton, Jackson and Obama while all these blacks are slaughtered in the streets of New Orleans on a
daily basis. Why not do a story on Tyrone Woodfork (black) who recently murdered a 80 year old white woman
and severly beat her 85 year old husband in Tulsa Oklahoma. Let's see if you have the guts to cover this story !!!!

I bet the black guy is in jail right? Zimmerman is still free ....that's why it's on the news.....duh? I hope no one ever unjustly kills one of your kids and some black cops and a states attorney don't do their jobs. When blacks commit crimes against whites it's prosecuted to the fullest extent. Where the first law Zimmerman broke was trespassing ...as he was not security or anything else for that gated community. But even after that you expect no one to be outraged over this self defense bull. Lorie if you're tired of hearing about social injustices or civil rights violations...be a part of the movement or shut up......because if you're not a part of the solution ....you're part of the problem..... Shut up!!

      Lori,

I am in agreement with you.

We truly have NO IDEA what happened that night. But for the Strait couple of 65 years to get NO COVERAGE in their tragedy is ridiculous.

It is absolutely the crazy the spin that is being put on Trayvon. The videos starting out with him as a sweet young child and football player with brief pictures of what he is present day. People are calling him a child. He was close to 6' tall and around 150lbs. That is NOT a child. And if Trayvon was deciding to use aggressiveness for being followed, I can see how there are scenarios where it would go downhill with Mr Zimmerman.

Had Trayvon not gotten in trouble at school and had to live in a new neighborhood vice with his mom...

Had Trayvon not looked like a wanna be gangsta...

Had Trayvon not confronted an ELDER person (no matter what race) and just finished going home...

But I do like how Lori points out how many Blacks kill Blacks... especially in bigger cities. That never seems to be an issue for them!

What did Zimmerman have in his possession to verify that he was indeed coming from the store? The 911 operator said"we don't need you to do that (follow him). She then asked Zimmerman to stand by the mailboxes at the entrance and wait on officers. Then Zimmerman told the operator that he'd call back and give them his location, indicating that he did not intend to take their advice and not follow this person. Is there a medical report immediately following the inciedent that proves Zimmerman's injuries? None of us know exactly what happened that night, but sounds like the lack of proper investigation will fuel this fire for a long time. Did Zimmerman pull a gun on Martin and cause Martin to defend himself?

To get a feel of what went on the night Trayvon Martin was killed, you need to listen to that 911 call made by a neighbor. The fatal shot is heard in the background.
    Just listen to it.
    You don't need any experts.
You don't need to know anything about the case.
You don't even need an open mind.
But you need to listen to that heart-wrenching call.
    Then draw your own conclusions.
All you need are your ears and a heart not made of stone.

Take the colour of skin out of this please! It's simply an unjustified and sickening murder. It was downright cold blooded.
I did listen to that child screaming for help. It is very obvious what went down. George Zimmerman did not need to shoot this child. There is so much we can speculate about but some things are just straight up blatent. Trayvons screams for help will haunt me for a long time. Never heard a child screaming for help in terror, hear the shot, then silence. Horrible. George Z's father is a retired Judge and when it went down he called his Daddy who made it possible for him to be released and as well, avoid having any mandatory procedures followed when he was brought into the station. That is criminal. I am a white skinned Canadian and my partner is a black skinned American born and raise in Harlem NY city. He has seen his share of senseless murder including that of his own father. We get the Angle lorie is coming from and agree that black on black crime is a HUGE problem that happens every day in cities across America. Who is speaking for these poor murdered souls? These kids that die everyday need a voice too. Why did it take a racial killing to make people stand up and get out and fight for what is right and just? It's a sad thing man. Too much hate in your Country. You are all Americans. Not black Americans and White Americans and spanish Americans, chinese Americans. Its crazy. Grow up America.
