Coming up this evening on "Piers Morgan Tonight," American television and film actress Jessica Alba joins the program for an entertaining and candid face-to-face interview.
The star us such movies as "Sin City," "Honey," and "Good Luck Chuck," Alba credits her parents for her tenacious drive:
"They always instilled an incredible sense of, like, a go-get-'em, go-for-it, anything is possible, kind of attitude. And giving 200 percent was mandatory," Alba tells Piers Morgan. "And you always finish everything that you start."
The mother of two young girls, Alba says she would support her daughters if they were to pursue careers in Hollywood, but cautions against the perils of the craft:
"I think if you can imagine yourself doing anything else, you should be doing anything else, because like you said, it's tough. It's tough on your spirit. It's physically tough," reveals Invisible Woman from the "Fantastic Four" film franchise. "The days are very long...People only see the glamorous side of it, which is actually like one percent."
Watch the clip, and tune in this evening at 9 p.m., as the annual member of Maxim magazine's "Hot 100" list opens up about motherhood, and her passionate pursuit of healthy baby products.

You ask her what she thinks is happening in America her view of what is going on. Jessica's opinion on economics and the state of America is sad to watch. She is focused on herself, how she looks and her image. She hasn't a clue as to what people are going through because she never had to go through it. She will make more money for her next film than most people will earn in a lifetime. You should ask the questions relevant to your guest's talent or intellect. In Jessica's case ask her who she is wearing and how much does she spend on her yearly supply of hair products and makeup. Of course she is the prototypical Hollywood liberal. I can't wait to hear how she is going to save the world. It is wonderful to know that she can get easy access to our politicians to discuss whatever issue she cares to indulge in at the time whereas the rest of us just get ignored. Thank god Jessica is looking out for us I don’t know what I and the rest of the great unwashed would do if that wasn’t so.
She started her own company offering truly safe, chemical free products for infants and young children, thats more than most people do in their lifetime. Just because she's good looking and a decent actress doesn't mean she doesn't have vaild opinons of her own. An actor, actress, musician or any other profession is just that, a profession...it doesn't 100% define a person. By pigeonholing people into certain categories, we fail to see the broader scope of a person's potential to the world.
True, but lets go easy on the "started her own company" stuff ok? I'm sick of people acting like these hollywood types are the same as people starting a company and building it from the ground up. She's lent her name to a business, and told others to run it and has input when she wants. It's like calling Snooki an 'author' when she's nothing but a person who told someone else to write a book for her.

Wow! Such hostility on Jessica comments – I watched the interview with Piers Morgan and found it interesting, but since I've never followed her or her movies, cannot nor would not comment on her acting ability.
Anyone who looks like Alba doesn't need to give 200% to anything she does to get what she wants. She was blessed with great beauty and physique. Now I'd give much more credit to a average looking gal who reached her status.
I've been on movie sets... Give me a break, it's "long hard days" of sitting around and fighting bordem until you are ready to shoot a scene. And then fighting boredom because you have to do it 100 times in a row.
lucky she got that pretty face. but that body, u gotta admit it. she works hard for it, 3 hours a day, five days a week. thats something.

Don't know what's up everyone's rump with these posts. Jessica has done well for herself and has stayed out of trouble. Not everyone can win the Superbowl and not everyone can win an Oscar. What you contribute to society means a lot more. There are MANY great actors/actresses who are TERRIBLE people in real life. So there. But I commend her for stepping out of her element creating non-toxic and eco-friendly baby products called Honest.
