Need to Know News: Sex scandal shakes Secret Service; Oklahoma tornado claims sixth victim

Each day, we here at "Piers Morgan Tonight" put together the news you need to know – from what happened last night to what will happen today.

For April 16, 2012 – Sex scandal shakes Secret Service, Oklahoma tornado claims sixth victim and Italian soccer player Piermario Morosini dies during game...

Sex scandal shakes Secret Service: "Some 11 Secret Service agents and officers are being investigated over preliminary findings that they allegedly brought back several prostitutes to a hotel in Cartagena, U.S. government sources familiar with the investigation have told CNN."

Oklahoma tornado claims sixth victim: "The death toll from a weekend tornado in Woodward, Oklahoma rose to six Monday with the death of a critically injured man in the hospital, a city official said. The Woodward storm was one of dozens of tornadoes believed to have been spawned by a furious storm system that wreaked havoc across large swaths of 10 states in the Midwest and Plains over the weekend."

• Norway mass-murder suspect admits killings: "The man accused of killing 77 people in a bomb-and-gun rampage in Norway last summer admitted Monday that he had committed the acts but said he was not guilty. 'I acknowledge the acts but do not plead guilty, and I claim I was doing it in self-defense, Anders Behring Breivik told a court in Oslo, Norway. The court recorded a plea of not guilty for him."

Buffett Rule would barely dent debt but fits nicely into Barack Obama's theme: "A minimum 30% tax on million-dollar incomes won't do much to eat away at the nation's debt, it won't create jobs, and no one expects it to get through the Democratic-controlled Senate, much less the Republican-majority House."

• Italian soccer player Piermario Morosini dies during game: "The world of sport has paid its tributes to Livorno midfielder Piermario Morosini, who died Saturday after collapsing on the pitch during his side's Serie B game at Pescara. The entire Italian football program this weekend was canceled and a minute's silence was observed at major league games around the world in his honor."
