"I am very, very excited," says Nixon. "It's a very tough category this year, and so it means a lot to have been nominated with those other women."
What was it like shaving her head for "Wit?"
Watch the above clip as Nixon shares complete details of the day she lopped off the locks, then tune in this evening at 9 p.m. for her honest and entertaining sit down interview on "Piers Morgan Tonight."

Mitt Romney's wife had ms and cancer and he doesn't understand women's health! What a ridiculous statement – and actors should stick to acting.
Mitt can afford any treatment his wife may need for recovery. Women without proper coverage or insurance will DIE.
I know this personally. Think about others before you write and please be reasonable.
The comment was about understanding women's health – not about affordabiltiy. Two different issues. To insinuate that Mr. Romeny does not understand what it feels like to have someone you love very ill is not fair. That's all.
Whatever your system is, the point is his life events have made him aware of women's issues. Perhaps it is your healthcare system that should have been questioned... not Mitt Romney's comprehension of health care issues.
I suggest that joseeir misunderstood the "womens' health" problems comment (note the position of the apostrophe the comment +above).
Cynthia Nixon was referring to the large number of women in the lower economic strata of society who have great difficulty in finding health care. As she said, depriving these women of care with Planned Parenthood, is not a solution to their problem. My daughter tells me that she found PP an affordable place for her care when she was first out on her own. Please, joseeir, please let us know how you would propose filling that need if PP were deprived of financing.
I am no longer certain where you're getting your information, however good topic. I must spend a while learning more or working out more. Thank you for wonderful information I used to be searching for this info for my mission.
