This evening "Piers Morgan Tonight" welcomes comedian, actress, and singer Jane Lynch to the program, for a heartfelt and revealing primetime exclusive.
Joining Piers Morgan for a face to face sit down, the openly gay "Glee" star reveals her reaction to Barack Obama's recently-voiced support of gay marriage:
"It's just nice to hear that the guy who's sitting at the - in the big chair in the big white house believes - supports me and my family."
Recently recognized as one of the "10 Amazing Gay Women in Showbiz" by POWER UP films, Lynch married her wife Lara in 2010, and together they have two daughters. Asked about facing bigotry and homophobia, Lynch's response features candor and humor:
"If there's anything wrong with me, it has nothing to do with my orientation," she tells the host. "I've got a lot of flaws. But being gay isn't one of them."
Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, then tune in this evening at 9 p.m. as Lynch explains the phase in her life when she behaved exactly like her Glee character, Sue Sylvester.

Just a comment on the gentleman/janitor who graduated from Columbia University. You said "only in America". Not so-the only reason he was able to do what he did (apart from determination and endurance, which I do not mean in any way to diminish). He was able to do it b/c his job at the university allowed him to get tuition reimbursement. Otherwise, no janitor making $22 hour could afford an Ivy League education regardless of ability or talent. Only in America..... even community colleges are now becoming prohibitively more expensive every day. Higher education is becoming one more thing only accessible to the rich.
Why does Jane Lynch think it's ok to call a teenage girl a b#$@# on her show? Her character is praising the girls for being unkind. Yet, the LGBT community is always fighting bullying. You can't have it both ways. That is a terrible name to call a young girls and a terrible thing to encourage her to be.
Piers, you told Jane Lynch that Obama should not take any outside funding for his campaign to stand on principle against the super pacs. You implied that Obama could pull this off with the American people. Piers, don't you remember what happened in 2008? Obama kept saying he would only take public money to fund his campaign then he found out how much Hollywood wanted to give him and he said he would take his own super pac money. Jane Lynch also called Obama "wicked smart"....she is right his "smarts" are destroying America. He is leading us in financial ruin.
Tam, I think you are picking sides, not that I mind, but rebemmer fair and balanced... well, nevermind, pick you side – the American way!
