Tonight Piers Morgan sits down with rap icon and entrepreneur LL Cool J, for a primetime exclusive interview on family, his transition from rapping to acting, and his new revolutionary music program, My Connect Studio.
The two discussed the future of American innovation, with Piers Morgan hoping America's great brains will get back to using them "properly."
"You look at the Steve Jobs, but these are guys in isolation," Morgan explains. "But it should be more than that ... I just want them to be using it properly, making stuff again."
My Connect Studio, which LL Cool J debuted earlier this week, aims to connect talented musicians across the world, allowing them to create, produce and edit music together in real time, with out ever meeting each other in person.
LL Cool J said this new software is part of a childhood fantasy turned reality:
“I always dreamed that if I was in, let’s say, New York and a kid was in London or if I was in LA and a kid was in Tokyo we would be able to go online … and create music in real time together.”
Tune in to "Piers Morgan Tonight" at 9pm EST as LL Cool J remembers Whitney Houston and talks about making music, television and more.
