Roseanne Barr on love and her gay siblings: "I, as a straight person, have not been able to hold any relationship together as well as they"

Coming up this evening at 9 p.m., Piers Morgan welcomes actress and comedienne Roseanne Barr for an honest and revealing primetime interview.

Fifteen seasons since the conclusion of her iconic, self-entitled sitcom, the Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award winner faces the host's signature question:

"How many times have you been properly in love in your life?" Morgan asks Barr.

"There were many times in my life where I was in love, I'll just have to say that, many times," says the thrice-divorced 59-year-old. "And I happen to be in love right now. I'm not like my gay sister, and my gay brother that have both been with the same partner for 25 and 26 years, respectively. I, as a straight person, have not been able to hold any relationship together as well as they."

Currently running for the nation's highest office as the nominee of the Peace and Freedom Party, Barr insists she's a legitimate candidate, who's more in tune with herself now than ever:

"The issue of mental health is very near and dear to me. And as I go on, and as I pull it in, and synthesize, and do all the things, plus just getting old, you get wiser," she tells the "Piers Morgan Tonight" host. "I think I have a happier life, and I'm more centered, and I'm in the best place that I've ever been in."

Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, then tune in this evening at 9 p.m. to hear Barr's platform for winning the general election and fixing America.

Piers has to leave his British rules and believes at home, he is walking on rough ground when he takes on the gun owners In The USA, He will create a lot of bad feelings for both himself and CNN if he keeps preaching his British gun free Views to the American people

So sad to sit and observe the political circus being played out in the ongoing Presidential feud. As a Canadian, I have a great deal at stake with your countries influence on our economy, and getting a mite tired of the reporting of trivial matters on candidates.. Real people have to worry about where their next meal is coming from as opposed to your cllowns concern as to whether it will be steak or lobster.

Pretty sad display CNN and your show is displaying to a world audience.

Focus on your economy should be the issue here!

Most interesting interview! Cheers to you, Piers, and KUDOS to you, Roseanne! You are still one of the best.
I am also a lively lady in my 50's who can relate (somewhat) to Roseanne's character, and more still to her private life.
I do have one question for you, Roseanne (and it's important to me): Have you let your hair go natural? I have, and it
looks a lot like yours, beautiful silver on top, cascading down. My daughter wants me to keep it so, it gets more silver (I shun the word 'grey') by the month. I like it too. It feels like ME. You've gone beyond a funny-lady and a parody. You're a real life icon, I hope you know that. Lots of us out here really look up to you and respect you as a sort of role-model; you represent a lot of what a lot of us went through in our younger years.
BTW: No offense, I MAY do a write-in vite this November, but it won't be for you. It's for Judge Judy.
Stay strong and beautiful. And clue me in on your hair. I love it.....Cat from Texas

do us all a favor stop having any one on that doesn't think like you do. to watch them get mistreated and beat up by you is just sad. If you don't want the other side, great for you, but don't act like you do by having them on the show.
this thing about gun was a joke and this thing about Obama and you saying Mitt is as bad come on how sad for any one that doesn't think like you do.

I think this woman is what is wrong with the USA. One day when my kids were watching her show many years ago. I stood there and said why is she making white people look like white trash? I don't want you kids to watch this any more. as I watched over the years I came to see how right I was about this person. I saw part of her roast wow talk about low class. But that is what is wrong with ever one now. And we have an English men that came from a country that killed so many in so sick of ways telling us about our gun problem. we are 236 years old. what was England doing when she was 236 years old.
people need to have show to show them how nice and clean and wonderful they can be, not how low life they can act. Bikers don't even want to be bikers they don't know how to be better, most were beat as kids.

by the way if they had a parachute on there plane, no one would have even gotten hurt. but they make us wear saved belts we are so off as humans. ever plane should have parachute and the big ones should have air bags that can turn a plane in to a boat when it hits the water. I have a question does any one understand the reason we have guns? Its to fight for our freedom if the government ever tryed to take it from us. we did pretty good with fighting England didn't we? And we could do it again. gun laws don't stop mental ill people doctors do. The movies the songs the games the tv shows and we need to look at why they are being made? to make us all what one day?

Americans are sick of the time wasting hoopla! Roseanne has a 0% chance of becoming president, she was right on one thing, our government has no idea how to fix our economy, but either does she. Americans need to take the economy and the lack of jobs into their own hands. We should research every American company that sends jobs across the globe. Purchase advertising time on all networks, and boycott these companies, rise up! The government and the companies selling us out will take notice. Oh she was also right about how the 1% of Americans are suffocating the 99%, she just forgot to mention; she is in the 1%.
In addition to this can we please stop praising all of these movie stars for saving these third world countries. As these stars drive to their next press event, to show off the latest third world country they are trying to save, how many hungry and homeless Americans do they drive by. We have children, war veterans, mentally ill and helpless people starving and living in a cardboard box. It is wonderful what these stars are doing but I cannot imagine advertising that I am going to a third world country to feed the hungry, but I drive right by my neighbor who is hungry, and go 1000 miles away to help someone else. America has always been like a protective mother to the world, but all mothers know, they need to take care of themselves first, so they can be strong enough and healthy enough to take care of their children.
