On Friday, actress Gina Gershon sat down with Piers Morgan for an in-depth and lively chat about Hollywood, pop-culture and politics.
During the interview, the ever young looking Gershon tackled the subject of aging in Hollywood. Morgan believes "women get deliberately sidelined at a certain age." Gershon agreed:
"I actually think there is a little bit of ageism that goes on," said Gershon adding that when it came to discussing her age, she felt she had to lie about her age when she auditioned for her her iconic role in the film "Showgirls."
"Even when I was younger, I had to - I mean starting with 'Showgirls,' I lied about my age for that, saying I was older, because I thought' oh no, they're not going to cast me because I'm not quite old enough.'"
Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, as Gershon talks about the advice she received from fellow Hollywood beauty, Sharon Stone.
