Tonight Piers Morgan sat down with the five Romney brothers, Josh, Tagg, Matt, Ben and Craig, at the CNN Grill in Tampa, Fla. to talk politics, their families and most importantly, their father. Mitt Romney has been in the news in recent weeks because of questions surrounding his tax return history.
"He's paid his taxes," Josh Romney said. "This is a gimmick by the Obama campaign to take the message off the economy and on to my dad's personal taxes." Josh stressed "these are not things that matter in the grand scheme of things."
Matt Romney explained to Morgan that the boys understand the game of politics. "We know that he [Mitt Romney] did a great job of making that money," Josh said. "He worked very, very hard to do that and we don't take anything for granted."
Thought Matt said Obama "wants to point to my dad's success as being somehow disqualifying" all of the Romney sons are confident their dad is fit to be president. Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, as Piers Morgan tries to find the chink in the armor.

How about the gimmick that the republican's used saying Obama is not an American citizen? If you keep telling a lie some people will start beliving the lie and that's not a gimmick it's a strategy that republican always use. Maybe Romney has paid his taxes if so show us we are all from the show me state.
I just opened my own business without anyone's help. I built it. America is great because I can do that. I hope to be successful, maybe even as successful as Mitt someday. I do not need a bunch of regulations that hinder my success. If Obama is re-elected I will have a hard time because of his policies. With Romneys plan my business will flourish. No doubt in my mind he has paid his taxes...I will too and still be successful.
Paul, it's mindboggling how .. basic .. you so-called "buisness builders" really are. The president made a remark that is SO CLEARLY talking about public roadways, servants, teachers, and other infrastructure that has supported your business since DAY 0. The arrogance or ignorance to suggest otherwise is simply remarkable. No one, not the president or anyone else in this country is suggesting that you didn't build your own business. It's .. frightening .. that the lowest common denominator of y'all can't seem to even comprehend basic english.
Paul, you must be smart and have some courage to launch your new business, yet to say that "If Obama is re-elected I will have a hard time because of his policies" is total ignorance unless you can address which policies are going to wipe off your business? Why didn't you wait till Romney gets elected to start your business, obviously you decided to start it because you thought it may be the right time and climate to start it during Obama presidency.
Watching Gov Romney's sons and seeing family images is a little like leafing through an L.L. Bean catalog ... Well-made, clean-cut, sincere. And no way do I want to live in that same same same same white bread world.

I hope Piers wasn't expecting to get any new info or insights on their father because these young men have been so well trained to give no information that it was like interviewing a group of statues. How much weight can one really put on the one- word responses of a candidates sons anyway? Of course they are going to say wonderful things about their father.
You are so consumed about how much Romney has paid yet you don't care about how much Obama has spent of yours...go figure. Mitt paid about 2.6 million in taxes...Obama has spent 4.5 trillion.

I'm a professional that lives in NYC, I don't make as much money as Romney but I'm doing fine. Many people like me can't stand these ritzy prissy country club prep school kids either. These are the bullies we grew up with, Romney included (as has been reported before). I would rather not vote than give my vote to a religious fanatic that doesn't even remotely share my values.

This is my favorite argument against Romney. His family is too normal, he is too successful. That's definitely not what we want in the white house. right? We need somebody with more skeletons in the closet. That's what makes a politician a politician.

One remarkable thing happened during the interview. "One million Americans lost their jobs in a span of 5 minutes", that is according to one of Romney's sons. At the beginning it was 22 million out of work then he said 23 million out of work barely 5 minutes later. Someone's really learning to be like Daddy!

Forget the taxes. Why does Piers Morgan not question the Catholicism of the VP's in this election? Think, is it because both are Catholics - no - it is because it does not fit into his own agenda - anti Romney and his ability to think, to be truthfully critical? How are Morman and Catholic docrine similar? How do the President's religious convictions differ from Romney and other VP's on the ticket? Does he have any?

The question is NOT whether or not Romney paid any taxes, the questions are how much did he pay, and where does his income come from? What kind of impact are his investments going to make in his decisions on which laws to support and what he will promote. Its called possible conflict of interest.
Show us your taxes! Why do you pay a lower rate than a middle class family? Why Mitt?
It is called corporate tax...you can do it too if you had half a brain. Incorporate yourself and let your corporation buy your auto, your home, everything...22% tax rate on goods. Your personal taxed income is 39% or more. You can write off your jet under incorporation. The average American does not understand the advantage it has...it's just easier to not have to explain it. It is the loop hole of the rich.

It amazes me that we have such unbelieveable bias...so where are the college transcripts? Why did Obama apply for a foreign exchange student grant here in the US? Why was he listed as a student from Kenya? Why is there no record of him in any of the colleges he supposedly attended? Why doesn't anyone, out of a class of 400, remember either Barack Obama or Barry Sotero (his "other" name). Why does him bio list his as "born in Kenya".
Obama has never managed a business, managed a staff, conducted training sessions or done anything other than "community organizer". And what experience does that give you to run a nation and be Commander in Chief?
And while he was a State senator he voted "present" 138 times...didn't even commit to a decision, but did manage to write 2 books which are now coming under scrutiiny for the "literary license" that was taken....that means lying folks.
There will always be us and them, I just never thought the President of the United States would turn out to be one of "them". Hope he doesn't get another 4 years or we will all be speaking either Chinese or Arabic.

Why is everyone so concerned about Romney's tax returns? The man is obviously wealthy and paid taxes of 2.6 million dollars for one year. That is plenty of tax for one man to pay.
Apparently I am supposed to be more concerned about what Romney does with his money than what Obama does with mine.

Here is an important finding of the House Judiciary Committee...
Beginning in 2011, the Committee has learned that Obama administration officials at the Department of Homeland Security started to include numbers from the Alien Transfer Exit Program (ATEP) in its year-end removal numbers.
The ATEP is a joint effort between ICE and Customs and Border Protection that transfers illegal immigrants apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border to another point along the Southwest border for removal. But it is illegitimate to count illegal immigrants apprehended by the Border Patrol along the Southwest border as ICE removals. There are no penalties or bars attached when illegal immigrants are sent back via ATEP and they can simply attempt re-entry.
When ATEP removals are subtracted from ICE’s deportation numbers, the 2011 removal total would drop from approximately 397,000 to roughly 360,000 and the 2012 removal total would drop from about 334,000 to around 263,000 (annualized this is estimated to be a drop from about 400,000 to 315,000).
This means that ICE removals for this year will be about 14% below 2008 (369,000) and 19% below 2009 (389,000). So it is officially proven that while the Obama regime touts themselves as historic immigration enforcement achievers, the truth is they have cooked the books and broadcast this lie to the American public. They have done this with the full assistance of liberal media like CNN, ABC, and the Huffington Post which you can count on not to report the revelations contained within these reports!
If anyone tells you that Obama has deported more illegal immigrants than any prior president you tell them that is a lie and that removals for 2012 are down 14% below 2008 levels before Obama took office!
It is terribly unfortunate that American citizens have to form a political revolt against the powers that be to try to stop the invasion of our homeland. We must face powers that have used their influence to corrupt our own government and mass media against the best interest of the American public and against the truth.
Very few things in America can improve for us while such lies as these stand as truth.
