An Invitation to President Obama

On Thursday night, Piers Morgan extended the following invitation to President Barack Obama: Debate practice via a "Piers Morgan Tonight" interview.

After a winning debate by GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney on Wednesday evening, Morgan suggested that the former Massachusetts governor's success was likely due to his verbal sparing with the "Piers Morgan Tonight" host.

"Now if you're wondering where Mitt Romney developed these extraordinary new debating skills, then look no further," said Morgan. "I've interviewed the governor three times in the last 18 months and tested his arguing skills as best I can."

Morgan's message for the president is clear:

"I can promise you a lively exchange of views, a fair crack at the whip and perhaps even the odd moment of much needed levity," offers Morgan. "I'm available any time, any place."

So Mr. President, what do you say?

I cannot imagine why he would choose to go on your show. There is no one really watching. I have watched for the past year or so and have cringed so many time at your arrogant, long-winded, opinionated, but largely uninformed, monologues, and your talking over your guests. But last night really was the worst. How many different ways could you have asked your guests to articulate how "bad" Obama did in the debate.....how many ways did you try to squeeze just one more sound bite that added nothing at all of substance to the reality. Sure, the President had a bad night, but what was the motive to go over and over and over it? What new information did you get for your audience? Or what form of entertainment did it offer? It was brutal, hard to watch and I for one give up. LIfe is too short to listen to you.

Set up shop in Obama's favorite Chicago bath house. He or his surrogates
will surely give you what you want there.

Ask OBAMA if he knows how the gov. has arrived to 7.8% unemployment number. I bet he has no clue, but may say something as if he knows. He is oblivious and the most incompetent president ever.

Perhaps you should do some more research on how the figures are recorded before you accuse our President of adjusting the unemployment numbers for his re-election. I bet if the numbers were showing a much higher percentage, nobody will question the validity of such. Got you Mitties off track now for a little while anyway? Spend more time researching how Mittie who seem to drink too much Red Bull everyday, comes up with his figures. Oh I forgot he will get everybody employed once he is President. What a Joke! He owns companies, he does not have to wait for the election HIRE these folks NOW, you know the ones begging him for a job. Oh by the way, I am the 47% (and do have a job and paid all my taxes for many years as a single parent with two children and two jobs. Did MITT?

There is a separate building and department that does this where no one can change anything as told by them on the news and affirmed that this has not been tempered with. Don't blame Obama for the twisted bull that was given, blame Romney/his group for passing lies.

Piers, oiur President already is a very busy man, running the country campaiigning, keeping up with terrorists that are looking to kill all Americans anywhere, managing TWO wars, AND enduring debates with LIARS, (who believe they won the debate). Cool the MITT LIAR won the debate while on Red Bull...YIKES. I think perhaps you should ask Mittie why he INSULTED YOUR COUNTRY at the Olympics? Perfect example on how he will represent the US during foreign affairs...DRINK MORE RED BULL, Look Psychotic while debating, Lie to the American people, over and over and over again, we can't wait until this election is over so Mittie and the Mittens can go back to their real jobs and give their money to all the rest of the Americans that need help, instead of mouthing off every day what they will do for us...As the song goes...CALL ME MAYBE!!! Needless to say, he already told us how he will reaching out across the democrats and be their friend and have congress approve ALL his stupid ideas.... changing daily. No Problem Mr. Piers, we will vote our President for re-election and get rid of the other losers and gatekeepers and VOTE DEMOCRATIC all the way down, so we can have some piece and get things done...No Mr. President, please do not waste your valuable time, on this show! We got your back...God Bless America!!!!!

    Piers,
Please pack your belongings and leave. I am sure your country would take you back. As for your comment about the BBC being all that, you called Jesse Ventura a liar when he told you about the BBC doing what was to be a live shot about building seven having fallen with building seven in the background of the live shot. PLEASE go to You Tube and see for yourself. Then ask yourself HOW the BBC knew it was to fall? Maybe the BBC is as corrupt as Obama.

You should watch the BBC. I think you would find it to be one of the more objective portrayals of world happenings and issues. While the CNN Asia bureau could be considered a reasonable alternative to the BBC, the version presented in the US, does not even come close.

Please ask Mr. Obama about his war on coal, and the trickle down
effect it will have on employment. Does he realize 45% of rail freight is coal,
25 % of barge Freight is coal and 8% of truck freight is coal. How do all
    those industries replace that business?

Do you really take yourself that seriously? What is the media coming to? I would love to go back to the days when the media was not biased and they simply reported the facts. Your show is so biased I can't even watch it anymore. But for you to think that the Presidnet of the U.S. could benefit from "sparring" with you? A joke. The debate between Romney and Obams kept the audience captive because Romney offered interesting facts and solutions for our country. Not the pompous bias, fluff that we are used to hearing from the media every day of our lives. Get smart and encourage thoughtful, meaningful conversation...not just bullying rhetoric and constant interruption of your guests just to hear yourself speak.

    • No Mitt rMoney

Jacquelyn- The debate was a huge liefest for good ole rMoney. Check out any fact check organization that is not directly connected to Faux news and they'll tell you. Your version of reality may work for many, but your truth is definitely not THE truth. THE truth is that rMoney is a tool for the wealthy insatiables who orchestrated the very same economic catastrophe that got us to the brink of destruction. George W. got us into this mess- took a strong economy and spent it away, went into hiding after the hammer smashed down upon us, and left the middle class holding the bag. rMoney will do even worse because he isn't nearly as charismatic when he lies as GW was. Many of us used to respect the Republican party- but not now. It's a band of thugs (Grover Norquist), liars (rMoney, Paul Ryan, and too many others to list) borderline illiterates (Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and many others), and crooks that would prefer the country go down the tubes rather than work on collaborative solutions.

    Piers Morgan CNN’s Lou Dobbs
Piers Morgan is CNN's buffoon. Could you imagine this idiot not knowing the stupidity of asking his guests "how many times they have been properly in love?" The Obamas quite rightly have turned down his requests to be on his lack-luster show. His reaction was to take up where Lou Dobbs left against President Obama. He never misses a chance to criticize the President. Like Lou Dobbs, Piers Morgan is on his way to Fox News where he would be most comfortable with his type of gutter journalism.
