Coming up this evening at 9, Piers Morgan talks to John McCain where the senator gives his assessment on the U.S. Embassy attack in Libya that resulted in the death of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.
McCain, a former war veteran, adamantly believes that the incident was a terrorist attack. "Anybody who believes that an attack with mortars and rocket propelled grenades in a very sophisticated attack is a result of a video is - I mean - it's just ridiculous," the former prisoner of war says.
McCain emphasizes that it is "not the video that's stoking these demonstrations":
"It's the radical Islamists that are using the videos as a means of inflaming passion in the Middle East," says the senator. "And I'll be damned if I'm ready to abandon the freedom of speech because it might offend the prophet Muhammad."
Tune in tonight at 9 to hear more from McCain and New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof on the Middle East crisis.
