READ about Piers Morgan's long career in journalism here.
On Monday, Piers Morgan used his "Only in America" segment to celebrate Felix Baumgartner's historic skydive from the edge of space, an astounding 24 miles above the Earth:
"Hurtling through the sky at a top speed of an incredible 830 miles an hour, breaking the sound barrier in a four minute free fall, before opening his parachute and landing safely in the New Mexico desert on Sunday," said Morgan of the awe-inspiring feat.
Although the landing took place in the good ole' U.S. of A, Morgan noted that neither Baumgartner nor Red Bull, the company that sponsored the skydiver's jump "wings," are American:
"Here's the thing, Felix is Austrian. And Red Bull, the company that took a massive financial and reputational risk on funding the project, is also Austrian."
Morgan reminisced on the glory days of America's lead in the "Space Race" saying, "There was a time when America and Americans led the way in this kind of seemingly impossible dream, driven on by presidents with big dreams and big ambition."
Reviewing Neil Armstrong's epic moon-landing of 1969, and the speech by then-President John F. Kennedy which encouraged the adventure, the "Piers Morgan Tonight" host attempted to remind his viewers that "America is a country full of dreamers, a country that's at its best when it dreams big and acts on those dreams."
Speaking directly to Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, the "Piers Morgan Tonight" host offered a challenge to whomever proves victorious in the upcoming general election:
"Take a leaf out of JFK's book and dare the world again to dream big, led by the Americans," he said.
Channeling his inner-JFK, Morgan concluded that "Only in America" does the tackling of dangerous risk lead to reaping of an ultimate reward:
"Not because it's easy, but because it's hard."

This dude is crazy :)
Quite an impressive feat to freefall 24 miles at a speed of 830mph. I wonder what was going through his mind during the 4 minutes that it took to get down. Was he hoping that there wouldn't be any unforeseen or unexpected thing that would cross into his path. I'm sure that he was really hoping that nothing happened to his suit because it would definitely have been a life threatening situation for him. No air to breathe and freezing to death would not have been something to look forward to. So is this guy the next Evil Knievil, what will his next death defying feat be?
That was terrifying to watch and looked scarier than most drugs and I have tried most drugs.
The new Zune browser is surprisingly great, but not as great because the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as quick as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. In the event you occasionally plan on using the net browser that is not a problem, but if you're planning to browse the net alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and much better browser might be important. 6000mah行動電源 http://www.powerbankfresh.com
