On Tuesday evening, "Piers Morgan Tonight" welcomed Anthony Bourdain to the program and to the CNN family. Bourdain's new show, "Parts Unknown," set to air Spring 2013 on CNN and CNN International will continue the globe-trekking chef and award-winning writer's exploration of global food, travel and culture.
Never one to shy away from dangerous locations, Bourdain explained his love of travel remarking, "I am intensely curious about some places that are difficult." He talked specifically about one location his new show will visit:
"One of the shows that I've been meaning to do for years and haven't been able to is to go up the Congo River and trace Conrad's trip up to the - up all the way, as far as we can go," said Bourdain.
Bourdain also shared with Piers Morgan what his fantasy last meal would be, saying when "facing imminent death", his meal would be prepared by sushi chef Jiro Ono.
"I would eat very traditional, Edo style sushi from Jiro Ono, at his restaurant in Tokyo, at his sushi bar," said Bourdain.
Watch the clips, and listen to the interview, as Bourdain tells Morgan about the most disgusting food he's encountered during his culinary adventures.
