Egypt's president to meet judges angry over power grab: "President Mohamed Morsy will meet Monday with members of Egypt's highest judicial body, which has slammed his recent decree slashing judges' authority as an "unprecedented attack," state news reports."

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak says he's quitting politics: "Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak announced his resignation Monday, saying he will quit politics in January to spend more time with his family."

• Two-thirds say fiscal cliff poses major problem: "Two-thirds of people questioned in a CNN/ORC International survey say that the U.S. would face a crisis or major problems if the country went off the 'fiscal cliff' at the end of the year, and if that happened, Republicans in Congress would probably receive the greater share of the blame."
