On Thursday evening, Piers Morgan sat down with Madonna Badger who spoke about the tragic house fire that took the life of Badger's three young children and parents on Christmas Day in 2011.
Badger shared with Morgan her anger and frustration with the handling of the incident by city authorities in Samford, Connecticut where the house was located, saying "There has not been any conclusive anything" in terms of analysis or investigation into the source of the fire."
"And you know, for me, finding out the truth of what happened is very important," said Badger in a primetime exclusive. "I don't want anyone else to ever wake up on Christmas morning choking in their own bed and not being able to save their children and have, you know, the people, the city come in and tear my house down, and haul it away, and not save one piece of physical evidence, not save a smoke detector."

I am so sorry for your loss. You are amazing to be able to speak and share your feelings to everyone. I hope and pray that you continue to have strength and happiness in your life and get through the tough days ahead. You inspire me, I lost my Son seven years ago and it helps to hear other people talk about how they are also coping day to day. I am no rocket scientist, or lawyer, but I will gladly be called whatever and will post my thoughts but I personally believe this lady should be in jail she killed those kids and her parents what a monster. The devil has taken human form nothing makes sense in her story but whats really sad is mo one of authority has done nothing . ANOTHER Casey Anthony repeat.

I am so sorry for your loss but your denial is immense. One day you will accept the unfortunate cause of the fire, the embers and will have to acknowledge you made an error in judgement by not listening to yourself, to your questioning yourself and putting the embers outside. I am so sorry your home was taken down without a proper investigation. You were a wonderful mom to your children and I wish you peace and happiness again one day.
I am so sorry for your loss. You mentioned a book about a dr.who had a near death and his journey was of the wings of a butterfly. I have lost 4 siblings and would really like to read that book. If you would please send me the name of it and the author.

The name of the book is "Proof of Heaven" by Dr. Eben Alexander". You can find it on Amazon books. My daughter who suicided loved butterfly's, she always worn them. Survivors of suicide do not use the word "commit", to us that's a legal term. They do not want to commit suicide, its happens for other reasons, such as lack of saritonin in their brain among others. It is shocking that a house that was a possible crime scene was demolished the very next day after a fatal fire. This smells of a serious cover up. The mayor of Stamford has some explaining to do. He owns a business involved in demolition. This whole tragic story is stranger than fiction. I would think an investigation is long overdue. Where on earth is it ok to demolish a house the day after a fire on the day after Christmas no less!???? The poor family!
Tragedy shows the stuff people are made of, Madonna giving to orphans and Matt giving to underprivileged children. Proof once again that bad things happen to good people, I am so very sorry for their losses.

Madonna I want you to know we understand in Nov 2010 my daughter woke up to smoke choking her and her her children she died and 3 of her children died 12,8, and 5 and were stuck upstairs she was brought back to life and was so mad she was because she lost her children and wanted to die.. Madonna Badger – I would like you to drop your lawsuits against the City of Stamford and against anyone you believe was involved in the cause of this fire, I would like you to return with interest and counterparty's legal fees any settlements you may have already received from this tragedy from previous claims you may have made. I would like you to take responsibility for what happened that night, I would like you to stop making interviews and seeking the public's sympathy. In short, I would like you to quietly go on with your life and be glad you weren't arrested for a crime. There are enough tragedies out there for us to digest, but as it seems quite clear that you and or your boyfriend caused this tragedy by placing a bag of embers indoors adjacent to 43 duraflame logs in a home where the fire alarms had been disabled by the same boyfriend, it is offensive to me to see you persistantly publicize yourself as the victim in this affair.
the christmas season is of course one of the great ocassions that we always celebrate. i love giving gifts to kids.`
