The "three amigos" on Susan Rice's credentials for Secretary of State

Coming up this evening at 9, "Piers Morgan Tonight" navigates to the nation's capital, as the host sits down with a trio of Senators for an hour-long exchange of insight and opinion.

Joined by John McCain, Joe Lieberman, and Lindsey Graham, Piers Morgan turns the topic to Susan Rice and Benghazi, referencing the September 11th attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya and the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations who initially supplied false information to the public and the press as part of the White House's response.

Extremely outspoken in his criticism of Rice, and the Obama administration in general following the violence, McCain offered his feelings on Rice's political future, as the 48-year-old has been regularly mentioned as a potential replacement for current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton:

"I don’t know if she’s even nominated or not. She deserves the process that every nominee goes through," says the Republican from Arizona. "But the fact is, she not only gave wrong information, but she gave the party line, that ... Al Qaeda is decimated – Al Qaeda is not decimated. That our embassies and consulates are secure – they are not secure. So ... we’re all responsible for what we say. So we’ll go through the process if she’s nominated and we’ll see."

Turning next to Lieberman, Morgan asks the Independent from Connecticut if he shares McCain's sentiments, and would object to President Obama choosing Rice.

"On this one, we’re going to prove that the ‘Three Amigos’ can disagree and still be amigos," jokes Lieberman, referencing the nickname he and the other guests have been called for over a decade. "So, I don’t. Here’s what I would say about Susan Rice – I’ve been over all of the intelligence that we had before she went on TV that Sunday morning, I've been over her comments. I don’t think she’s disqualified based on anything she said that morning, but the rest is up to the future and unfortunately I’ll be watching it on TV."

Rounding out his trio of distinguished politicians, the "Piers Morgan Tonight" hosts asks Graham to speak on Rice as the potential Secretary of State.

"Personally, I don’t believe she would serve the country well in that capacity," the Republican from South Carolina says flatly.

Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, then tune in tonight at nine as Morgan and the "three amigos" discuss a wide range of issues, in the process putting Steve Martin, Chevy Chase and Martin Short to shame.

These three have got to go! Especially Graham. What a blowhard. He has 8 guns because he can. What a shallow selfish man. We are not at war with England anymore, we are are war here with runaway violent crimes with guns. They are so out of touch.

No matter what we have said, Susan Rice stands a chance of showing us her smart anyway, uh?

I wonder if the Three Amegios still have the same stand on gun rights ? It will be interesting see see how they react to the Presidents remarks regarding something must be done to stop such acts as we have seen today.
