Clips from Last Night: Al Roker on morning show rivalries and a "little accident" at the White House

On Wednesday evening, NBC's "Today" show weatherman Al Roker brought his sunny personality to the "Piers Morgan Tonight" studio for a fun and lively interview.

Roker chatted with Piers Morgan about the ongoing ratings rivalry between "Today" and "Good Morning America". Just this past April, the ABC morning show unseated "Today" from their spot as the top morning news program.

"It's not the worst thing to get a kick in the slacks," said Roker. "We're not changing what we do. We're just gonna work at it that much harder."

And speaking of slacks, Roker also address the "little accident" he experienced during a visit to George W. Bush at the White House a while back. Roker recently confessed in a "Dateline NBC" profile piece that after having bypass gastric surgery he would occasionally have issues with his bowel movements.

Unfortunately, one of those occasions happened on his way to the White House Press Room. "I pooped in my pants," admitted Roker.

"Gastric bypass is a serious surgery," Roker told Morgan. "I was a month away from having the surgery in 2002. If you eat the wrong things you're going to have gastric problems."

Thankfully Roker has healed from his complications noting, "I've been back to the White House about ten times and never had a problem again."

Watch the clips and listen to the interview as Morgan recalls how he'd seen Roker at the White House before and jokes, "Had I known what had been going on before, I would have given you a very wide birth."

I will no longer watch CNN News! I think Piers Morgan has no right to say if we have gun or not. Piers Morgan is not a US citizen so Piers cannot tell us what we can have or not! Long as you have a non US citizen on your station I as american citizen will not watch CNN, Betty Riley

You aren't watching CNN because piers Morgan is British? What about Stuart Varney on Fox? Is he not allowed to speak on US issues or are you boycotting Fox News too?

Piers Morgan and the rest of the world can tell you whether you can have "gun or not" because you are an illiterate moron who should not be in control of a gun. Please note that many of your fellow citizens are in favour of gun control. It's just so funny that you exemplify the stereotype of the American slack-jawed yokel in favour of guns.
