Gerard Butler on working with Navy SEAL's to prepare for his current role: "They are so dedicated and committed and passionate ... it is amazing how their brains work"

Coming up this evening at 9, Piers Morgan sits down with Gerard Butler for an entertaining interview that's equal parts humorous, and humble.

Joining "Piers Morgan Live" in studio, the 43-year-old star of such films as "300," "Gamer," and "Playing for Keeps," discusses his current movie "Olympus Has Fallen," in which he portrays an Ex-Navy SEAL trying to protect the president amidst a terrorist attack:

"They're amazing individuals," says Butler of the Navy SEAL's, whom he trained with for the sake of the project's authenticity. "They are so dedicated and committed and passionate. It is amazing how their brains work. So, you spend a lot of time with them and you learn to think that way, because once he gets in there, it's literally, you know, I've got to assess the enemy, I've got to establish lines of communication, I've got to, you know, find ammo and that's a fascinating part of the process."

In "Olympus Has Fallen," Butler's character must overcome seemingly insurmountable odds, battling without the aid of any back-up, against a gang of enemy forces possessing significantly more weaponry:

"That was another interesting dynamic to play was that I am up against it," Butler tells his fellow Brit. "I call my wife at one point and I really think this is good-bye, you know, even though I'm like, 'Hey, how's it going?'. But at the end of the day, he has to be going full 100 percent confidence that he's going to get down to that bunker, get the president, and help the advisers on the outside bring in the government forces."

Watch the clip, and listen to the exchange, then tune in at 9 for more from Gerard Butler, as well as actress Angela Bassett and director Antoine Fuqua, his colleagues from "Olympus Has Fallen."

( my opinion) he is a pig! he begs, and begs for agreeiance to his Lame agenda which in my strong opinion Sean Hannity sounds like A traitior, a terrorist in his own right by continuealy trying to crame his negative , deviding against the current government that is in a immediate visit and talks with israel, The same government that Hannity says Obama is totally against, even though they are havinggreat talks and giving medals of some kind of honor underneath Fox news butts , while Hannity keeps defacating horse pucky to the weak minded, and gullable, sorry gut they are! Terrorsit conspiracies at a time when the country stands together and solves the problems on our plate. Sean ( my opinion is a hater and a social media terroist against his current government and the majority of Americans that support and stand firm with the presidency. Now today and tommorrow! Nice sabatoge effort Hannity ( my opinion)

Seems like Sean Hannity tonight is degrading the excellant honor of our brave navy seals and army in the middle east and mocking them and the government. Bush used all the tactics used now, No one said a thing then , and Pres Obama in brave thanks to the great special US military groups we depend on completed the objective in the War the Bush regime started somehow thought illegal. Now the sean Hannity show the last three days defames you and your honor by ( in my strong opinion) of somewhat slandering and defacing the Obama presindancy! ( my opion) Somebody stand up and also defend the majority american peoples honor .
