READ about Piers Morgan's long career in journalism here.
On the heels of a provocative, eyebrow-raising op-ed published in the "Ironton [Ohio] Tribune," this evening "Piers Morgan Live" invites Michael Reagan to return to the program and share the context and perspective that lead to his writing.
The adopted son of former president Ronald Reagan, and a former American radio host and Republican strategist, Reagan uses the newspaper's platform to offer the following sentiments regarding same-sex marriage:
"This fight over Proposition 8 isn’t just about saying it should be legal in the eyes of government for two people of the same sex to get married in California. It’s ultimately about changing the culture of the entire country; it inevitably will lead to teaching our public school kids that gay marriage is a perfectly fine alternative and no different than traditional marriage. There is also a very slippery slope leading to other alternative relationships and the unconstitutionality of any law based on morality. Think about polygamy, bestiality, and perhaps even murder."
A 68-year-old California native, Reagan has been interviewed by Piers Morgan on multiple occasions, in the past weighing in on a bevy of political topics, while also revealing details of childhood abuse.
In addition to Reagan, tonight the host will also welcome singer Wynonna Judd.
Fresh off a heart-breaking elimination from ABC's hit reality program "Dancing with the Stars," Judd and her husband Cactus Moser will share emotional details of a recent motorcycle accident that cost him his leg.
While Wednesday will mark Judd's first-ever appearance on "Piers Morgan Live," her family is no stranger to the program, as in the past Morgan has interviewed family matriarch Naomi Judd, as well as Wynonna's sister, actress Ashley Judd.
Tune in this evening at 9 as Morgan hosts a pair of polarizing guests in what promises to be two equally captivating live, primetime interviews.

Reagan was right on in saying marriage was defined by God and explaining why he was against gay marriage and made it quite clear he was not anti-gay. Piers did his best to turn what Reagan said around by bringing race into discussion but failed miserably....hats off to Reagan...your father would agree with everything you said!!!
I can not believe we even have to defend what marriage is. Shame on the government for not protecting the gay people there rights. Give them the same rights as married people.,But please come up with your own definition of the uion. Marriage is off limits... In God I trust!
You got it entirely correct. Give them rights but call their union somethng other than marriage because it aint.
How long are people going to declare themselves Catholic while also declaring they do not believe what Christ teaches? I hope Christian peoples will stop being scared to stand up to people who are louder and so wrong, instead of realizing that we are in an age of martyerdom. Will there be any left who believe in the truth? WHAT IS TRUTH?
Years ago I tried to read Michael Reagan's autobiography, I found him to be so excessively whiny that the book wound up in the garbage can. As I recall, Michael claims to have been molested as a child. This makes me wonder if he has a chip on his shoulder against gays, especially since his main excuse for making his comments was "because the courts are saying it." It seems to me that if you quote something you agree with you should be able to back up that quote with your own opinions, rather than only be able to point back to the original source. Seeing the interview, I have the same low opinion of him I did in reading his book.
Mr. Morgan I didn't like how you use "black people" to prove a point. When GOD made man he made man and woman not two men or two women and marriage is consider holy in GOD eyes...I don't care color or race you are it should be a male and female now I don't kno what GOD some of you serve!!!
Mr. Morgan, Turned your show on for the first time in months and quickly realized again why I had previously stopped watching your mean spirited interrogations that are supposed to pass for interviews. What an unmitigated joke of a "journalist" you are. Twit.
What do race got to do with it...GOD made male and female....Marriage is consider holy in GOD EYES...Mr.Morgan black people should not been use to prove a point.
I agree with Mr. Regan and Piers Morgan missed his point completely (he needs to listen and not interrupt). Marriage is and should be defined by the church – between a man and a woman. All else can be "unions". For Piers Morgan to liken gay marriage to mixed race marriage indicates he missed the point. Nowhere does the Bible indicate issues with that.
This is ridiculous. There is no God, the concept itself is infantile. Marriage is between a man and a woman. To radically alter this definition would be to re-engineer the family in a way which will yield unforseeable consequences, but one can darn well bet it will not be for the benefit of childen...they still deserve a mother and a father.
You just said God might be a "she" and you call yourself a Catholic? You are soooo mixed up. Mixed marriages and gay marriages are not relatable. Michael is rightly saying that if you redine the definition of marriage, in any way or shape or form, it opens up an avenue for another challenge, like polygomists (sp). It's not too hard to understand that Piers but you won't acknowledge it. You need to go back and discover what it means to be a true Catholic. I'm so offended by your declaration that's what you are when you publicly disagree with Catholic Doctrine. You will have alot to answer for someday with what you are saying (wrongly) to all the world. Please talk to a Pries!
Stop comparing being black or any other minority to being gay. Being gay is a choice, thats why they call it orientation, and stop saying anything different with out verifiable proof from the american medical association.
