On the heels of a provocative, eyebrow-raising op-ed published in the "Ironton [Ohio] Tribune," this evening "Piers Morgan Live" invites Michael Reagan to return to the program and share the context and perspective that lead to his writing.
The adopted son of former president Ronald Reagan, and a former American radio host and Republican strategist, Reagan uses the newspaper's platform to offer the following sentiments regarding same-sex marriage:
"This fight over Proposition 8 isn’t just about saying it should be legal in the eyes of government for two people of the same sex to get married in California. It’s ultimately about changing the culture of the entire country; it inevitably will lead to teaching our public school kids that gay marriage is a perfectly fine alternative and no different than traditional marriage. There is also a very slippery slope leading to other alternative relationships and the unconstitutionality of any law based on morality. Think about polygamy, bestiality, and perhaps even murder."
A 68-year-old California native, Reagan has been interviewed by Piers Morgan on multiple occasions, in the past weighing in on a bevy of political topics, while also revealing details of childhood abuse.
In addition to Reagan, tonight the host will also welcome singer Wynonna Judd.
Fresh off a heart-breaking elimination from ABC's hit reality program "Dancing with the Stars," Judd and her husband Cactus Moser will share emotional details of a recent motorcycle accident that cost him his leg.
While Wednesday will mark Judd's first-ever appearance on "Piers Morgan Live," her family is no stranger to the program, as in the past Morgan has interviewed family matriarch Naomi Judd, as well as Wynonna's sister, actress Ashley Judd.
Tune in this evening at 9 as Morgan hosts a pair of polarizing guests in what promises to be two equally captivating live, primetime interviews.
