Tonight: Boston, Mass., and West, Texas – Death, Destruction, and Determination

Join Piers Morgan this evening as the CNN host headlines two live hours – at 9 p.m. and 12 a.m. – dedicated to covering two emotional stories currently captivating the country.

Three days since a pair of explosions detonated near the finish line of Monday's Boston Marathon, this evening "Piers Morgan Live" will be joined with a handful of experts and analysts tasked with providing the latest on the investigation of who's responsible for the unsolicited terror attack.

Reporting live from the ground in Massachusetts, CNN's Jake Tapper will add context to a story with multiple layers, while former Boston Police Commissioner Bill Bratton will join Morgan live in New York for an exclusive face to face interview.

Additionally, as the small town of West, Texas attempts to begin recovery efforts following a massive explosion which left between five and 15 people dead, and more than 160 injured, tonight Morgan will speak live with Sharon and Lisa Middlebrook. Sisters-in-law from, Sharon rescued Lisa from her nursing home bed last night, as the ceiling and windows collapsed around her. Relocated to another facility, this evening the Middlebrook women will share their story in an exclusive live interview.

Tune in this evening at 9 and 12 as "Piers Morgan Live" continues coverage of the deadliest domestic terror incident since September 11, 2001, as well as a tragic explosion which has left a Texas town reeling.

CLEARLY! We must have background checks for anyone wanting to purchase a pressure cooker. Does anyone really need a pressure cooker for cooking? Is that the only way they can cook? If only we had an assault rifle ban the Texas explosion would not have happened.

Wow! You actually changed my mind with your post. Now I think all criminals and mentally ill people should be able to walk around with whatever gun they want. Thanks for the logic and reason.

Not a lot of that round here,I'm afraid, just people not willing to give an inch 'cos they like guns too much, and're scared of their

Let say you use your mind for a moment. Should mentally ill people but allowed to buy pressure cookers? Maybe we just need to make it illegal to use certain kinds of guns to commit murder. Go fletch boy, go fletch.

That's right, stick to your same idiotic comparison to Boston. The govt tracks the sale of materials that can be used in explosives, requires people to wear seatbelts and does many other things for the general safety of society. There have been enough incidents with firearms to warrant an ATTEMPT to save lives with a common sense solution that DOES NOT infringe on the rights of responsible gun owners or responsible potential gun owners. No one is coming to take all the guns away so you can take the foil hat off and go back to Fox News.

I have to completely agree with ffletch2013's post above. Age limits on drinking, smoking, mandatory seatbelts etc. are all in place because there are or have been instances (in volume) where these issues required intervention to assist in prevention to ensure the general health and safety of the American public. Having a mental heath check prior to the purchase of a firearm, to me, only makes sense. Especially seeing as there have been an increased number of serious mass shootings across the USA by individuals who may not have passed mental health checks. As the times change so must this great country. Perhaps passing legislation to help protect lives rather than a poor implementation of internet censorship would be of much greater value to the country.

Sgt Happy&Achristos–echoes of Bilko&Aeschylus respectively!BRILLIANT sobriquets,gentlemen...my first question to Bilko:

do you think he's fat?A wee bit tubby, maybe, but should occupy just the ONE chair(whether the plane takes off remains to be seen, but hopefully British Airways the best, pioneer of Concorde.)

    second question to Aeschylus:

    what's facepalm?

And are you a dumb two-bit Yank who requires leadership, but that's OK 'cos we're THE BEST at it?

    As you well know.

Bill Bratton said the public is a huge help in catching suspects generally, and that the FBI likely has enhanced images of the suspects. Why wouldn't they release a better photo for the public?

Kind of funny, British tyranny is why Americans still have guns today. We would never have created the second amendment or most of our Bill of Rights if it weren't for you chaps. Thanks. Now kindly mind your own business, and please take this Morgan fellow back.

He's a good man,and like Piers, only trying to help:if anyone thinks the solution is to just buy more guns, and leave it at that they may as well jump in the Grand Canyon which you could fill with their guns.
