Proudly launching his brand new segment "The Grill," – in which he aims to "turn up the heat and debate stories that matter" – on Monday evening Piers Morgan welcomed Ben Ferguson for a live, primetime interview.
A conservative radio host who found his appearance to be "appropriately named," Ferguson willingly battled Morgan on the issues surrounding the Boston bombing investigation beginning with labeling bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev as an "enemy combatant."
"He [Tsarnaev] would have been interrogated longer than he was," said Ferguson. "As soon as he was read his Miranda Rights he was then, what did he do, he shut down and said, 'Thank you very much America. I'm a terrorist and you're treating me like I'm not a terrorist.'"
"This is not a normal American," said Ferguson about Tsarnaev. "This is not a random act of craziness. This is a planned orchestrated terrorist attack."
Morgan then argued back, "The factual reality about Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is that he's an American citizen who committed a crime on American soil and he is entitled to his rights under the constitution."
Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, for more of the segment that left the host to conclude "Ben Ferguson, nicely grilled."
