Uncle of the three Cleveland suspects: "I never want to see them again"

On the backdrop of a remarkable story in Cleveland, Ohio, in which three women were found alive after having allegedly been held captive for 10 years, "Piers Morgan Live" invited Julio Castro to share his specific perspective on a case that is quickly becoming one of the most shocking in recent memory.

Joining Piers Morgan for a special live midnight broadcast, Castro spoke about his nephews, the three men currently under arrest and being held in the city jail:

"It is something that is nerve-wracking. I was very surprised to hear that my nephews had done something like that," said Castro.

Asked by the host if there had been any indication that the three brothers were capable of such a crime, Castro struggled to make sense of it all:

"Well, I know that two of them – Pedro and O'Neal – used to drink a lot, I don't know whether they still do," said Castro, via telephone from Cleveland. "But Ariel was never a big drinker."

Formal charges are expected to come within the next 36 hours, but Castro told Morgan he has no plans to visit the brother's while they're in custody:

"No. No. I never want to see them again."

Watch the clip, and listen to the rest of Castro's interview, as the uncle of the three suspects further explains his shock at learning of the accusations stemming from three separate missing persons cases.

It's good to know that the girls of this terrible story are free and will rejoin relatives asap. It sounds crazy how it all happened. What an awful nightmare they lived through for so long. I hope they will readjust to freedom AOK, and that whoever is responsible will pay a terrible price for their evil actions.

The flag flying on alleged offender porch is a Puerto Rican flag not an American flag like you stated on the show!

I can't wait to see how Mr. Morgan finds a way to spin this one into a gun control argument. Probably an ancient ancestor of the Castro Clan owned a gun & that somehow genetically altered the family leading to a generation of child molester kidnappers....

  6. No Speak Anglais

Wish that was the case in the US(could have picked French as their lingua franca, but, well, not as good,is it?And your mates France have nothing to say,Hollande's popularity a record-low).

Some of the BS on here, and Thomas Hamilton only used handguns now, apparently.

    Waiting.
