Moore, Okla. native Toby Keith: "I'm proud to live here"

As the residents of Moore, Okla. continue to recover from the deadly tornado that tore through their town with the strength of 200 miles per hour winds, "Piers Morgan Live" spoke to country music star and Moore native Toby Keith who shared his thoughts and reaction to the devastating event.

"This was a bad one," said a stunned Keith who had just returned to Moore earlier in the day. "But Oklahoma's prepared, they have some of the best meteorologists in the world."

"People were prepared as they can be and mother nature's just not gonna be tamed every time."

"The good thing is we're resilient here," said Keith about his hometown. "I'm proud to live here in this town and I've always called it home."

"A year from now, these people will be vibrant and moving around and God bless the ones who didn't make it."

What the clip and listen to the interview as Keith compares Monday's tornado to the infamous twister of 1999 known as "May 3."

how do the OK republican senators and representatives explain the fact they can't get the number of dead straight after more than one day, after all they live in a country that speaks their language and they have ready availability to every law enforcement officer county and state. but yet they expect president obama to have all the facts in bengazi in 24 hours. in libya with all its varied sects of islam and no government to call upon for answers. how disingenuous. could you please make a point of this.

Your a damn fool. Obviously you have no clue how tornados work and the concept of the total area that has been destroyed. They may never find some of the bodies because there maybe too little left of them. And just like a liberal duche bag to make a something horrible like this political.
